After upgrading to Lion I found I could no longer upload photos to Facebook from my iMac. I am brought to what I think is the Finder dropdown menu and cannot maneuver anywhere from there to find and choose the photo I want to post. I have run Lion Cache Cleaner with its optimizing and maintenance programs to no avail. This posting I was always able to do readily with Snow Leopard.

Blue Question marks appear when websites like Facebook have pictures. This began after Uverse was installed in my home. It did not do this previously with ATT High Speed Internet. Uverse claims this is a computer issue.Â

I currently have iPhoto '09 version 8.1.2. I tried uploading pictures from iPhoto to Facebook but I get the message "An error has occured. Please try again later". File > Export > Login (which brings me to the Login page on Facebook) > I sign in & that's when I get the message. I've even tried hitting the Facebook tab on the bottom right. Does anyone have any solutions to my problem?

I have done searches, it appears to be a problem, but most of the fixes are either over my head or for a pc. My computer is not the fastest but Firefox is unbearable. View 2 Replies View RelatedIt was flaky after the upgraded to 13.0.0 but resolved that with flushed caches, disk utilities, rebuilding the launch services etc, and I could still access it using Chrome.Having upgraded to 13.0.1 it is not responding to treatment. Have uninstalled Firefox completely - including all leftover files - and reinstalled: still nothing. It's running happily on Chrome under 10.6.8 so I know it's not a connectivity issue through the router.Obviiusly not the app, not the connection, only common areas are the computer itself, which seems to be running happily enough, and maybe something in OSX that has been affected?

I've been reading other support sites discussing this topic and I have yet to see anything that solves this issue. I have a DVD from a photographer with pictures on it. It works on a PC and a Mac running snow leopard. Lion WILL NOT read this DVD. It tells me it is a recordable DVD but does not show the pictures. I am highly annoyed that upgrading to this OS has created this issue. I don't want to go back to Snow Leopard just to view this DVD (and I don't know how to revert back to it either). I also don't want to put it on my ancient PC desktop just to view the pictures. My DVD player is just fine. It will play movies but not recognize the picture DVD.

I have about 2,000 contacts in my Mac Address Book. For a few immediate family members I've manually added pictures. However, there are a handful of other address book records that have pictures that I am 100% sure I've not added myself (I would have had no way to have these photos from these particular people!).Â
How on earth does the address book gather those pictures? Are they somehow linked to the person (via GMail maybe as the few I've noticed all have GMail accounts)? Will they update if the person updates their picture?Â
And, since I have my picture on my address card, who else sees it?Â
