Oct 12, 2009I recently updated to Snow Leopard. The transition went very well except for one thing. When I try to open up Photo Booth, it says that it is not compatible with this version of Mac OS X (10.6.1). It also states that it is Photo Booth 2.0.3. Just to let you know, I do not have the backup CD's at the moment.

MacBook Air :: Photo Library Needs To Be Upgraded To Work With This Version Of IPhoto
Aug 24, 2014Just bought a Macbook Air running 10.9.4 and was trying to transfer iPhoto library from our old laptop via an external HD.
After I copied the old library to Pictures folder, iPhoto prompted me to install and run upgraded.
I did that but when I try to open iPhoto it still prompts me "The photo library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto." after I click upgrade it shuts down immediately. When I try to access the library as described above, it only opens what I believe is called a package.
reading "Pictures-bash-80x24"
Do I delete the Pictures folder and start over? if so, how?

Dec 24, 2007Was on my PB last night, went to pick the power cable up by the transformer and it emitted a spark, a little bang and then some smoke.
It was very very hot. It was late, and I was slow to react and it remained plugged into the computer after this had happened still charging it as if nothing had happened.
The computer is fine too.
Basically, I'd like to know if anyone has had a similar issue happen to them, and if I should get a new power cord? Or if you think it is okay to carry on using this one.
I haven't plugged it in since last night to see if it works or not, I am worried it will break the lap top.

Apr 27, 2009I need to create a split archive of a file over 1GB for posting on my blog. I'd like it to be in RAR format so that both Mac and PC users can access it. I heard I could do it with Stuffit Deluxe so I bought it and now I'm seeing no such option. Neither to create split archives or to create RAR archives, let alone both.
Does anyone know how to do this with Stuffit Deluxe? If not, can you suggest another software?

I tried the Photoshop option for this, but it does not make a nested site.I wanted to try the Dreamweaver option for this, but it is not available in CS6 now. I simply want to be able to drag a series of folders (full of images) into an empty home page, and have the software make an index.htm home page that contains links (using the folder names) to other new automatically created pages, which the software makes using the folder names, and which contain links to the images in those folders. Yes, I can build such a thing manually, but I want an automated way to do it, since I will have to do it again and again with different folder sets.

Mar 15, 2012My Photobooth that was built into my Macbook Pro and it was working perfectly at first. I got my Macbook for christmas, it was brand new and one day the backdrops stopped working for some reason. I will use a back drop and get out the frame as it tells you to do and it will say background detected straight away. They when I step back into the frame it will not detect me? It just has the backdrop of what have chosen and no me? I have had a plain background behind me, no mirrors and relective stuff around me, I just want to know how I can get the backdrops back to normal.

Apr 15, 2012So, my problem is very simple. I like organizing my things by tagging them. I like photos. I have a lot of photos that I took in 2 different external drivers. I can't combine those two. I can't put all of my pictures in my laptop. I want to organize those pictures. I want to put an driver in my usb and the app/software just organizes the pictures from that driver, than, when I plug in another driver, I want the pictures from the last driver out and the pictures from the connected driver in.
