I created my website using iWeb, and use iWeb SEO Tool (3rd party software) to upload onto the internet so that my website can be found on the net. Â But since upgrading to Lion OSX I can't open my iWeb file in iWeb SEOÂ - my Library file has been moved and my iWeb file has disappeared!! I have since found the iWeb file through Finder (by using Go to ~/Library/) but still cannot find it using iWeb SEO so can't upload changes to my website.Â

tried using an ethernet to USB adaptor. I saw one at Fry's for $20. I normally do not have need for ethernet but one hotel I have stayed at seems to only have an in room ethernet connection to get on line.Would I notice any difference between an adaptor that supports USB 2 vs USB 1 while surfing the internet?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI got my first macbook pro about a month and a half ago, and everything has been working flawlessly. Recently however I have been experiencing extremely slow internet. It hasn't been a problem until recently when I noticed extremely slow web surfing. The download speeds seem to fine, but surfing the net is painful. I have firefox along with safari and both are equally slow. It is faster to surf some sites using my phones 3g service then my wireless internet. I have looked at mroogle and have tried some of the solutions on there and none of them seemed to work. I am using a linksys E1000 router and my airport has full bars. I don't know how run a speed test so I am not sure what my internet speeds are. I am not the best with computers, so if the solution is complex

I've run into an unusual problem recently. I think it it related to two recent software installs. The problem only started after i installed the new application loader. Â
My issue : I'm unable to open application I downloaded from the web. I get the following error message below.
P.S I haven't tried rolling back the lastest softwarte installs yet. I'm hoping I can avoid that.

I have a macbook a little over a year old. It's my first mac and I love it. Yesterday though it started acting really weird. I first noticed that it was really, really hot and the fan was running. I turned it off and back on and here's what I found out:
Applications are being deleted from macbook. ITunes, IPhoto, iChat have clear question marks over icon. There are 8-10 blank spaces in the Applications folder where applications have been deleted. However, data is still there (ex. pictures still there, but no iPhoto).
Internet= Says I have internet but wont connect.
Cannot open " System Preferences" or "Internet Preferences".
If connected to home computer will connect to internet and allowed to open internet preferences but still no system preferences.
If shut down....takes a while to come back on and starts up 2-3 times.
Also "Preview" is gone. Now " ColorSync Utility" opens.
Is this my hard drive dying? I'm tech challenged, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
What do I need to open eml files?
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, whenever I try to open a file in preview (pdf, jpg, whatever), it says I don't have permission to view it. However, I am the owner of all these files (and I can open the files fine in other applications). Here is the screenshot of the error message:

Suddenly my iMac won't open most .PDF files - specifically those that are imbedded in the body of emails or may be identified by a hotlink on websites. But if one is simply attached to an email, that seems to open? The only thing I think I've done since everything worked properly was to agree to install Adobe Reader 10.1.3 and Adobe Flash Player. rectify whatever error I'm experiencing so that I can open .PDF files once again?Â

I upgraded my operating system to Lion without realizing that it would instantly render all of my MS Office files for Mac useless. How do I resolve this? Do I need to downgrade my operating system to Snow Leopard or is there another way to get my files back and be back at work?
