Whenever I try to print a document of any type a diagonal "draft" watermark appears. The printer does not matter, and the application does not matter. This needs to be resolved fast, because I cannot look professional if everything I print is a draft.Â

I didn't realize final draft had autosave disabled by default. Long story short, the program crashed, my work along with it. I didn't save the work. It was not auto saved. Would like to recover the work if possible.

I was having problems printing from my Canon LBP6000. Print jobs remained held in the queue. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Mac CAPT Ve r340 driver from Canon's website, no improvement. The printer works fine with my Windows laptop. I found an option to remove all printers from the Print preferences section. I can't remember how I did this, but all printers were removed. I reinstalled the above driver, but now in the 'print & scan' - 'add printer' section, I have no printer options. And no idea how to get printer options.

My mother is working on an important document with Word 2004, and it's fairly big at ~100 pages. The problem, is that people have sent through their own sections from their PC versions of Word, and their sections have [Type text] in the footer area. We cannot find a way to remove this text, and it doesn't actually show up when we reveal the footer. It prints this on every page, so we really need to find a way to get rid of it!

I am not a mac user (please forgive me) but I have a friend who has a Mac and cannot print all of a sudden. From what I understand it is an I-Mac and the OS is OSX.
All of a sudden (after a few years without trouble) she is getting an out of memory message when she sends a job to the printer. Further, no jobs show up in the printer dialogue window when it is sent from the computer. The print jobs are not large, just simple emails. Even when she creates a blank message with the word test in the body it still wont print.
The printer is an HP D4160.
It is not sending any messages re: the status of the cartridges. The computer is communicating with the printer as it will print a test page when commanded to from the computer so this is truly baffling.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Example: when I type 'wireless info' into Spotlight on my computer the document 'wireless info' is the 29th search result listed. The top hit is a mail message named 'Re: Re: Reset the device, and new wireless info'. The other 27 items in the list above the document I was looking for are things like 'Introducing Portland.doc' and 'Les Amis B&B'.Â

I've tried everything, and cannot get my 7400 Xerox Phaser to print any Adobe document. I'm using CS5. I've downloaded drivers, driver updates, driver patches. I've reinstalled the Adobe programs. I do get a "communications error" on some other programs, but they still print. I used to get this message with the Adobe programs, but they were still printing until yesterday. Xerox says it's a "Mac thing." Adobe's site is absolutely with no support?

I currently have an issue with Mail 5.2 in which mail I compose and send is placed in the drafts folder and not sent. I have spent hours on the phone with my ISP and have been unable to resolve the issue. ISP has told me all settings are correct. I can receive e-mail on the account I just can't seem to get it to send. Checked my router (Time Capsule) and all ports are fine. I am also running my own mail server on Lion Server. The Lion server account is IMAP and sends/recieves e-mail no problem. My ISP account is POP and uses no authentication.

I had approximately 15 draft emails. They were stored on computer, i.e. the setting "Store draft messages on server" was NOT checked. I re-used those messages often in my business. I am on Mail version 5.2 (1257) and Lion 10/7
Suddenly the whole folder disappeared.
None of the draft messages are in my email account on the server - and they are all gone (deleted?) from on the computer. In other words, I currently see none of my long and quite important Drafts anywhere.Is there any other way to find these drafts and bring them back?

I just received my new 17" Dell LCD (1704 FPV) yesterday and hooked it up to my windows laptop (my new Mac Mini will be here in a couple of days). After a couple of minutes of looking at it, I noticed very thin lines running diagonally and parallel over the whole screen. The lines go from top left to bottom right and appear to be moving (yesterday I thought they were moving down, today the appear to be moving up). Those lines I see are really very thin and hardly noticeable, but now I've seen them once, I see them all the time. It shows especially on a plain background, which appears to be very lightly striped. Unfortunately, it's nothing a screenshot would reveal, I think. Does anyone know what those lines are, whether they're normal and what I could do about them?

The document that I print after paying each bill is the confirmation of the payment transaction. But it's almost too small to be read without a magnifying glass.Â
I can't find where or how to increase the font size of the printout.  Firefox preferences doesn't include any sort of font size preference to choose from; and my printer application in Settings doesn't list font sizes to choose from or to set as my default size.   Â
PageSetup allows me to choose a paper size, but not a font size. Â
