OS X V10.7 Lion :: Printing Multiple Envelopes From Address Book?

I am having trouble getting envelopes to print properly from Address Book in Lion. I have specified size #10 envelopes. When I print them, the text printed on successive envelopes moves further and further down the page until the address drops off of one envelope and is then printed at the top of the next envelope. If I print to PDF, I see the same behavior. I have an HP Photosmart Premium printer. I didn't have this problem before I upgraded to Lion, and all my settings are the same as they were prior to the upgrade. I have seen that other users have the same problem on the forums, but there isn't a clear cut answer to how to solve the problem anywhere. I also tried using the easy envelopes widget, and I still have the creeping further down the envelope problem.

I used to be able to print addresses from my contact list on envelopes now I can't even print the addresses in a group on one page, just their phone numbers appear. I just changed over to icloud.

Whenever I print a mailing envelope in Lion's Address Book, it prints fine but then prints a blank page following. How can I stop this?

In Snow Leopards Address Book, I was able to select an Address Book Group and then shift-click to select a range of groups. How do you do this in Lion?

I am tearing my hair out! Apple Address book is so close to having a workable solution to mass label printing.
Does anybody know how to print address labels from a group in the address book.
I know you can create templates pages for avery labels ect but it will only allow you to print the name rather than select a "nick name"
Any new ideas? I have started to dabble in the apple scripting side of this issues so I am open to suggestions... really anything saves having to write out 3000 addresses.

I am new to Mac and want to print addresses of family and friends on envelopes for Christmas mailing. On my PC, I was able to enter addresses into a spreadsheet and from there I could print adhesive labels to affix to envelopes. My new printer won't print labels, but it is able to print directly on envelopes. I had no extra software, just Microsoft Works. Do I have to buy software to do this, or is there a way to do this with my Macmini? It has iWorks and Pages.

I have an Epson XP 610 printer on my iMac. This is a new printer but when I attempt to print an envelope from Contacts or an App I purchased some time ago which uses Contacts I get the address but also a rectangular black filled in box area towards the left of the envelope. It does not appear on the preview screen just on the printed copy. All other apps such as numbers or notes etc all print out fine. This has only appeared since I have used this new printer.

Does the apple address book app print contacts/address labels. What I am trying to do is print out my contacts names/addresses onto the precut address stickers for our wedding/save the date invitations (no calligrapher for us lol). There has to be an easy way to do this from this application? I am running the latest version of address book/leopard fyi.

I am new to mac mail so I am slowly adding all of my contacts. However, is there a way to add multiple contacts at once. Say I received an email where 50 others in the To: Can I add all of these people at once, or do I have to right click and add each one individually?

I have setup my own mobile phone to be sync-ed with mac osx sync.
So all contacts of my mobile are stored to address book of osx, and vice versa.
I want to do it for another mobile phone.
But I do not want to have the contacts of the second phone to be synchronized with the same address book of osx, that I use for my primary mobile phone.

how to specify which of several email addresses should be used for a member of a group. It starts by selecting the menu item "Edit > Edit Distribution List." From there it explains how to select the desired address for a specific person. All well and good...Â
BUT...Â
Try as I might, doing various combinations of name or group selections in the address book window, I cannot seem to get the "Edit Distributuion List" item to be un-greyed. Effectively, the program is not allowing me to do the edit function I need to do on this one group member.Â
Am I missing the secret handshake in this process? Why should it be this hard to do this simple function?Â
Which raises the larger question of "What did Apple do to the Address Book application in general?" This issue is only the tip of my iceberg. The whole app seems to be harder to use than before.Â

I must be missing something very obvious, but I can't seem to set Address Book to add all new contact info as "Work" entries. I have to edit every new entry and change all the fields from "other" to "work." This appears to happen when I "grab" phone or email info from an email message.

Address Book in Lion was working for me initially, but at some point within 10.7.2 and into 10.7.3 it began to malfunction. It shows all the addresses. If I search, it ignores this completely. If I single click on an entry, it does not show the details of that entry, but still displays the first entry details. If I double click the entry, a new windows pops up with the actual details for that entry. I have tried deleting the db and various pref files to no avail. Sync with iCloud is enabled.

My Address Book won't open on my IMAC- It worked this morning but I must have hit something to hide. I tried right click on icon and have tried - show all windows, Options, Hide and Quit. When I click "show all windows" the last address I was viewing pops-up, but once I click on the window, it immediatly disappears.

Used the Migration application to transfare from my old imac os 10.5.8 which is now networked with the new imacÂ

I have many printed sheets of contacts that I need to import to address book. Other than manually typing or through the magic of ocr (url...) then copying and pasting to address book, is there an easy way to input these contacts?I've found world card mobile (url...) on the iphone where I can take photo's of the contacts and the apps ocr will correctly put about 80% of the proper information in but the phone runs out of batteries and it's about the same time as copying and pasting.
I'm wondering is there a computer version of world card that would at least put the information in the right spot and I can make just minor adjustments. Or is there a way that I can make the pdf in to an excel or numbers format and the use one of those excel to vcard apps to do it all in one shot? it's a lot of contacts, over 10k.

I can't open my address book. Whe I click on it and the menu bar on the top changes to address book but nothing shows on my screen. If I right click and choose "show all windows" then it appears but disappears when I try to click on it to use it. I have tried shutting down and restarting my computer.
