I installed the Mac OS X Snow Leopard and now I can no longer play videos contained in my family picture albums. Is it the new operating system or do you have another solution to assist me. I was always able to play videos prior to the new snow leopard?

What I hope to do with it is a) Back-up files on my MB using Time Machine, and b) Back-up files I have on a 250GB Lacie portable HD full of photos/videos/music.I am requesting advice on how to back-up a back-up (ie. backup my Lacie onto my Seagate). Is there a popular freeware program that I should use to do that? I suppose I could just copy and paste the photos/videos/music, but I'm sure there's a free program that does syncs, which would be way more efficient.

Youtube videos won't play properly on my imac (I have OS X version 10.5.8). The video plays only for a few short seconds and stops for about 90 seconds and then repeats the process .
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever I run World of warcraft and try and watch a dvd the OS locks up and I have to hold down the power key to reboot (force quit doesn't respond) Don't recall this happening with Leopard but might not have tried it as I'm a relatively new Mac user. I had to uninstall all apple products because there STUPID upgade won't work with SpeedBit, therefore I had to put Quicktime Pro 7 in my external hard drive, but when I uninstalled quicktime, I wrote down the key and also found out the purchase number, but neither keys work to get quicktime 7 pro back. All I want to do now is get my Quicktime 7 Pro Key to open said folder.

Since installing snow leopard I can no longer watch any videos on Hulu or any network.com sites. I have installed Peruin, update QT for snow leopard and updated to the latest flash player.....any suggestions. I "got info" on safari and told the application to open with rosetta. there were a number of other programs that I needed to do that for so I thought that would work...but nothing does!
View 2 Replies View RelatedEver since I updated one of my work machines to Snow Leopard yesterday, I am unable to copy photos to the clipboard in Preview or similar apps. The option is grayed out. I usually do this to change icons, but I've had to use third-party apps to do this since the upgrade. I'm sure it has to do with permissions, but I'm not very well versed in that aspect of OS X yet.

Im very happy with SL , but want the same controler in the corner that im used to instead of the whole bottom of the screen being the contoler . After I click out full screen , I see the controler but not in full screen mode .
