I have much of the junk emails that come to me auto set to go to the Trash folder through Junk Filter settings. However, when I do a Command>A, to choose all the email in the Trash folder, and then click on Delete, the junk emails I never opened don't delete until I do it again or click on each one and then click Delete. All the other emails I moved there manually will disappear using the Command>A and Delete, just not those that went there by filter rules I set up.

I am using Mail 4.5. I used to have a Junk button next to the Delete button. I would select a long list of messages and click the Junk button. I was making adjustments in my Preferences (to stop certain filters), and must have done something to make that button disappear. Also, it seems to have stopped filtering junk. My Junk Mail preferences still show: Enable junk mail filtering, When junk mail arrives, move it to the junk mailbox, and all the rest of the boxes are checked.

I've been pretty slack since moving over to my mac book pro but now I find my inbox with roughly 500 emails in it and 80% would be junk from various sites I'm signed up for. I now have flagged all of these address that are spaming me as junk however the only email that moves to the junk folder are the ones I'm individually tagging as junk, the older emails, from the same address remain behind. Is there a way to delete my entire inbox of these junk mails without going through each mail individually?

How to add buttons back to the top. In Terminal type: Code: defaults write com.apple.iTunes full - window - boolean YES. To change back, use the same code, but trade YES for NO.
How to add color back to the icons:
1. Quit iTunes
2. Download the itunes10color.zip from here.
3. Right-click the iTunes icon and select "show in finder"
4. In Finder, right-click the iTunes icon again and select "Show package details"
5. Open "contents" and locate the "resources" folder.
6. Replace the file "iTunes.rsrc" with the one downloaded
Short version:
Replace /Applications/iTunes.app/Contents/Resources/iTunes.rsrc with the downloaded file
Both are confirmed to work on an Intel Mac running Snow Leopard
I am missing the window navigational buttons (top left of window) when I open certain applications. The buttons that I am missing are used to minimize, maximize and close the window. Please see the attached picture. I circled the area that should have the buttons present.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyone have any idea of a feature that was originally going to be in Boot Camp, allowing it to switch very quickly between a hibernated version of Windows and a sleeping version of Leopard, is gonna be back for Snow Leopard?
Apparently the feature was dropped before the final version...
This would've been awesome, would love to see it back...

The problem is sometimes switching from one user to another, we are able to type in a password, but the login and back buttons are disabled, like you are not able to click on them. It is basically frozen and we have to manually shut it down.
You know when you press F4 or F5 the sound goes up and down, and then a small beeping noise goes along with it? It somehow disappeared in OS X and now when I toggle the media control buttons (F4/F5 (Old keyboard layout) it changes the sound, but has no beeping noise to go along with it.
Noise is still ok in Windows (XP.
I've got external spam filter, and I've turned off junk filtering in apple mail.
But every so often, Mail categorizes messages as junk. It might be new since 10.9.4.
