Jul 1, 2012
I can't join iCloud but want to continue using my mac.com email address. With the changeover today I am not receiving emails. How may I access my account?
I let my MobileMe account expire and now when I try to use my login name from MobileMe for my email address with iCloud it's says that this email address is already taken. How can add my MobileMe email to iCloud?

I'll be moving to iCloud on a new iMac running 10.7 soon. My main email is a mac.com address and my wife and daughter each have an 'email only' account associated with that. We need all those to continue to work. Does it matter which account we move first? I am worried something might get lost if we move the wrong one first. They are both running older macs so won't be able to get full icloud, but only need access to email at the moment.
Also, I currenty use use entourage and collect email using POP - I gather this will no longer be possible and I'll have to use IMAP, which I'm not familiar with - anything I need to bear in mind making that change? I'm currently in two minds whether to move to Mail or Outlook
My question is, will I be able to keep all my Mobile me eMail addresses? I had three @me.com addresses. Will all three still "work" after June 30th?Â
At still point, I have no inentention to upgrading to "Lion, Mountain Lion, Snow Mountain Lion, etc. I still use a couple of older apps like Appleworks and I like them better than any similar programs. I also still prefer to use Quicken 2007 which I was told won't work with Lion. Most of the computers I use are too old for Lion anyway.
I'm on 10.6.8 and chose the option to keep my email working after the iCloud move. It isn't working however. Do I need to take some additional steps to make it work again? I can't set up iCloud because I'm still on 10.6.8 and don't see it in the systems preferences.
Info: MacBook Pro (15-inch Core 2 Duo), Mac OS X (10.6.8)
When iCloud first arrived, I guess I signed up for it using my regular e-mail address. This e-mail address is at my own personal domain. I've had MobileMe and just got rid of it, essentially transferring it over to iCloud. So I now have two iCloud accounts, one set up for my personal e-mail, one with my old MobileMe stuff including my Calendar, Contacts, and Me.com E-mail (which I do use sometimes). What to do? I don't want 2, as it will get so confusing. Any way to combine? Can I get rid of the iCloud account set up to my personal domain email? Also, what about my iTunes Store account, which is set up with personal domin email?Â
I have been reading the discussions and trying to get my email on my Outlook to work. I can receive emails on my iphone and ipads, but no longer on my Outlook. I have already moved my account from mobileme to icloud.Â
I have an old pre-Intel G5 Mac desktop and want to keep using Mobile me Mail and Entourage because they work so well and I have been using them for 10 years. I cannot get the mail system to work having moved everything else to iCloud. Followed the instructions but it just does not work and the mail.mac.com server will not accept my password. Any ideas?
I do not want to lose my .mac address on my iMac and was told that I can keep it if I move to the cloud. Not ready to do that yet. Could I join the cloud with my iPhone 4s and keep the same .mac address while my iMac is still on the Snow leopard?
How does one make a link in an email that says join us at... but not have the actual url show? I would do it in the mail>preferences>signatures but I don't see a way.Â
I have Imac. When we moved from mobile me to icloud, the calendar no longer pushes to icloud.Message in calendar is: The calendar url... was not found on the server. Make sure the URL is correct.
mac.com is my current email provider. When MobileMe was created, my .mac account was merged (? probably not the correct word, but hopefully you get the idea) with MobileMe, and I could receive mail addressed to myusername@mac.com and/or myusername@me.com. When MobileMe goes away will I still be able to send and receive my email at myusername@mac.com?
my older MacBook Pro is not compatible with iCloud so I opted to just proceed with keeping my email. The bulletins said you could do that - just keep email but now today (my first access after the switch), my email does not download!! And I can not find it.  I know there is some mail there since on Saturday through web access, I saw that there were several incoming emails that had not been downloaded. I use Entourage for email.
I can send a message from mobile me/icloud account but am not receiving get error message that mail.mac.com on port 993 timed out also get error message password not correct on iphone
I followed all the instruction apple gave me to continue using my mobile me email. I worked find until 11AM today July 2. Now I cannot access any new mail or send any as the mail will not accept my password. Can I access my email through my Safari web browser? Is there any way at all I can access my email as apple did not give me any further instructions. I am using a G5 apple with the intel chip. This is very important as my emai is used for critical business items. My email address is xxxxxxx. You can also reach me at a friend's email address which is xxxxxxxx.Â
My email keeps saying MobileMe server "mail.me.com" rejected the password ... but I have not changed my password. It does the same thing with smtp.. how do i fix this? My password works when i sign into icloud itunes and everything.
I have a mobile me account which I have not used much, except for a gallery. After getting notice of mobile me ending, I can't seem to find if icloud will cost or not? Can someone direct me to that info?
I need to move from mobile.me to iCloud. The operating system on my macbook pro is 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, however Lion is required. Do I need to upgrade to Lion and can I upgrade for free? Or can I transfer without on my current OS?
i got a gift MobileMe, and my question is that any benefits from MobileMe? can i use the email of mobileme and use iweb to publish sits or it is useless now..i have iPhone 4 (IOS 5.1.1), iPad 1 (5.0.1) and Macbook pro (OS X 10.7.4)
