I'm trying to upload photo files to an online server in Safari 5.I have OSX Lion.How can I choose more than one file at a time?I've tried Select All (Command A) and it just jumps to the first file in the folder. Also have tried clicking on the first file, holding down shift and clicking on the last file.Just highlights the last file.Is there an easy way to choose all files?

I let a friend use my computer and was wondering if there is anyway to determine what files she may have uploaded using her own AOL account on my machine. Is there any upload file record or upload manager that can detect all uploads? Is there some sort of MAC OS Up-Load Manager that can show all uploads regardless of what account was used to perform the upload? This might be a Safari question I suppose?

Everytime I upload that ical backup file... nothing happens in google calendar. It does nothing in Firefox... and safari I just get 0 was transferred. I just want to bring over my calendar to google. Does anyone know what is going on? Anything I am missing?
How do you think, what is the best file manager for 10.5.x. With Midnight Commander I have a problem at start.

I have a Mac Mini running Lion Server. We are going to use it for software update, profile manage , vpn, ect. When I'm not on the LAN I can load the [url]... however when I'm on our LAN I'm unable to load this site. I can start load the site from the LAN by putting,[url]..., but the page then redirects to [url]...auth?redirect=[url]... and will not load because of the domain name. This problem is also causing me to not be able to push profiles to machines while they are conected to the LAN.
My goal is to be able to load the site from anywhere as [url]...

See the related link.I've been handed control of a Mac lab at my school. The former admin was supposed to document, but he didn't. To lock this slack-tastic wonder out of my network I wanted to change the password on my local Panther server.
Being the Unix geek that I am, I SSH'd to the server, logged in as administrator and called 'passwd' to change my password. Now Workgroup Manager doesn't work.
It was suggested that I attempt to edit the NetInfo database directly. I tried via the 'Netinfo Manager', but that didn't do anything helpful. Now I can't authenticate on the 'Netinfo Manager' on the server and I still can't become fully authenticated with the 'Workgroup Manager' on my own account. I am able to authenticate on the server directly, with the GUI and console. I'm able to install software, use 'sudo', etc.
I tired to use the 'pwpolicy' command since 'administrator' authenticates with the PasswordService, but I got an odd error: Code: pwpolicy -a administrator -u administrator -setpassword apple
*** Error: dsDoDirNodeAuth failed with error = -14090
Method = dsAuthMethodStandard:dsAuthSetPasswd
I can't find a reference to that error code anywhere. I have verified that I can authenticate correctly with 'pwpolicy'.
I tried to modify the password with the install discs, but I didn't see any simple tools for changing the password when browsing the CDs. I assume I have to boot off them in order to change the password, but when I restarted the server with the OSX install disc inserted it did not boot off the disc. Is there an easy way to allow for booting off the disc on a Mac platform? I'm only familiar with the PC configuration methods.
On mobile me/idisk I would upload the file to one of the folders (usually Public) the just click the share tab and enter the relevant address. Is idisk not part of the icloud way of doing things? If not how do i upload?

i just deleted a file and wanted to use the new glorious "put back" function in SL that moves a trashed file back to it's place.However neither by right-clicking on the file in the trash nor in the file menu there is a "put back" option.Where is it?Edit: Ok i find this very strange. On this particular file there was no "put back" but when i do on another folder/ file there is. WTF?

Safari and Firefox crash when I try to upload something through the browser. Before when I would upload a file, a finder window would pop up, but it immediately crashes before this window appears. I tried logging in as a different user in the OS and that didn't work. But when I rebooted in safe mode. I was able to get the finder pop up window to upload the file.

I have done a Virus scan with ClamX and removed x3 Phising files and also a Malware scan and removed something called 'Genieo' omnibar.safariextz These are now all in trash.

I have trashed the Finder preferences and when restarted, for a few seconds it looks like it will work, but within seconds of trying to select a drive or file, the open/select dialogue box changes to a basic "home" look and does nothing. it's not locked up, and I can cancel out, but I cannot select anything. I just made the big switch to Mac recently, so bear with me.When I am in Safari trying to upload an image the file upload box remains blank. The little load icon is constantly "loading" but nothing ever really loads. So, I cannot uplad any files. Originally, I thought it may have just been a bug in Facebook. I have a Mac Pro and Macbook Pro hooked up through my Airport Extreme. I have no problems downloading but cannot upload anything in iMovie, Youtube, Picasa, Facebook or Ebay. Funny thing is uploading works perfectly well in Boot Camp. Any ideas anyone?

results in a picture (picture2.jpg) that is the size of the sum of picture.jpg and hidden.rtf.zip. I presume this means that I am successfully putting hidden into the picture.I can open picture2.jpg, but I can't figure out a way to access the hidden zip.

I just registered and just made a video, which I tried to upload directly to Youtube from the "Share" tab in my iMovie program. It appeared to work at first, but keeps saying "An error occurred" and nothing more.
Nothing else happens. The video never uploads. I need to find out why. Btw, I use Mac OS X version 10.5.6. Bought the computer back in March. Would appreciate some help.
