ITunes :: When Burn A CD, It Will Not Play On CD Player
Jun 9, 2012I have tried burning my iTunes purchases onto a CD, and when I try to play them back on my CD player, nothing happens. It will play back in iTunes on the Mac, but not on my CD player or in my car.
I suspect it has to do with the speed at which they burn, but I have no idea how to change that?

May 23, 2009I just recently got my mac. Its been s struggle but I love it! Few problems though. Firstly, how do I put movies from my computer onto a dvd? Make up a dvd that can play in a dvd player. Its a blu ray player, im not sure if that makes a diff, think I just have to check what types of files it plays and change them accordingly. So how do i burn a movie onto a dvd?
Other question, Im having a problem with my wireless internet. My macbook works fine everywhere else and nobody else i live with have any problems. Just my computer in my house. The internets REALLY slow. I rang NTL and they said its your computer, so rang apple and they did some tests and said its your network so I rang NTL again and they gave me a number for netgear, the people who make the router. They were NO help, you can't call them from a mobile phone and I dont have a housephone. Is there anything I can do?
Id appreciate any help I can get!!

May 31, 2009I want to backup a few of my rare DVDs that I have. I used RipIt to rip the DVD and now I have a folder with VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS in it. Jan 31, 2010I've searched and I still cannot find a free program that will let me burn a movie to a DVD. I used handbrake to bring the video file down to 4.5 GB. I'm trying to put it on a 4.7 GB disc and iDVD still won't let me because it says it is too big! I've been tinkering with iDVD and it's making me crazy. There must be a way to just burn it. I don't need a menu. Keep in mind that I want to be able to watch it on a dvd player (as opposed to just transferring the file). Just an FYI, the video file is 3 hours and 28 mins. Finder tells me that it's a QuickTime Movie file, but QuickTime Player says "QuickTime Player can't open "Movie on 4-12-12 at 8.20 PM" because the movie's file format isn't recognized."
Why won't it open, and how can I get it to open? Additionally, I recorded a different video this morning and it plays just fine.

Quicktime used to be the default player for opening movie files.
For some reason RealPlayer has become the default and I don't really like it.

Nov 24, 2009I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard and I have the latest Quicktime Player as well. QP used to have the controls below the video, but now they're over top of it.
I can move them around, but I can't seem to move them off of the video. This is highly irritating because it means I'm missing part of the video any time I use any of the controls, or if I just bump the mouse.
Am I the only one who's bother by this? Is there any way to change it or to revert to an older version while still using Snow Leopard.

I have dual layer DVDs and want to burn the same small movie on both layers, one would be full screen, the other wide screen so the viewer can choose.
Is this possible? Is it just a matter of burning one movie at a time; will the comp recognize which layer is empty after the first burn?
