I have updated my pre-Intel Mac as far as I could go, using OS 10.5.8. Is there a security patch for this OS? I have 2 Macs of the same vintage using this OS.Â

Apple released a Mac OS X security update Tuesday that fixes a critical PDF vulnerability.The update, labeled Security Update 2010-005, addresses a "heap buffer overflow" in the way CoreGraphics handles PDF files. The vulnerability could allow "unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution" through a malicious PDF file.
It is unclear whether this fix is related to the PDF exploit on iOS 4 that allowed hackers to jailbreak the iPhone. Apple released an update on August 11 that addressed the iOS PDF exploit.Security Update 2010-005 also patches a "stack buffer overflow" that would allow arbitrary code execution through a malicious embedded font. Both the PDF and the font vulnerabilities are fixed through "improved bounds checking."
Also included in the update are several routine fixes to network security flaws.The update affects Mac OS X Server 10.5, Mac OS X 10.5.8 , Mac OS X Server 10.6 , and Mac OS X 10.6.4.
Updated to latest security download and now MacBookPro cannot connect to wireless router.iPad works on the router and MacbookPro works on other wifi networks, but it will nolonger work with the actual wireless router that I used to download the latest security software? I have Quicken 2007 for Mac on my G4 and would like to move it to my new iMac currently running Lion. I downloaded the recently-released update that will allow Quicken to run on Lion, then downloaded the file to an external USB drive. I then uploaded it to my iMac, and Quicken opens, but does not have any of my account information. I then deleted the files from my iMac and downloaded another copy of Quicken 2007 from the Quicken website. I then downloaded the update to my iMac, but it would not open. So, it appears that I have to transfer it form my G4, but need to do it in a way that will also transfer my data.
I ordered a firewire cable and am planning to try to move it directly. In the meantime, does anybody have any tips? Just so you know, I really want to use Quicken.
Last night I played Skyrim on my iMac and it was fine, but I updated my Software and now when I open it the screen goes black and the game only appears on the bottom left corner and it keeps flashing..
