MobileMe :: Stop Password Error Notifications In IPhoto?

I keep getting MobileMe password errors in iPhoto and it won't accept my current working (in iCloud, iTunes, etc.) password. I saw an article that said I needed to migrate from MobileMe to iCloud in System Preferences but that option does not appear for me. How can I stop the error window from popping up and making my iPhoto app icon bounce in my dock demanding my attention?

mobileme doesnt recognize my password in iphoto in my macbook pro, why does this happen? that is the same password for my iphone when i use it for the app store. i know the password is correct, it works everywhere else but in iphoto

I'm getting this message over and over. My MobileMe was dropped today (yesterday?).I saw another thread that suggested removing a plist. I did. So now the icon doesn't show up on my finder (also had to change sidebar preferences).

My coworkers and I share numerous calendars using icloud. Recently we have began to receive a deluge of email notifications for every change, tweak, or addition made to the shared calendars. We have been using shared icloud ical calendars for over 8 months and have never had this issue until it started earlier this week. My email inbox has become literally overrun with ical notification emails.

When I change an item in my calendar, my Macbook Pro sends me an e-mail message. I'd like to turn off those notifications. The calendar is saved on I-Cloud.

How can I "mute" my whife's calendar? I want to see it, but not receive her reminders and notifications. She has the same problem, she don't need to get a pop up every time I have a meeting. Is there a way to "mute" shared calendars?

I need turning off the Breaking Apple News notifications. (See screenshot below.)Â
Notifications in System Preferences does not have an option for Breaking Apple News.Â
I called Apple Support and they didn't even know what I was talking about.Â
note, I do not want to turn off all of the notifications. I want all notifications on, except Breaking Apple News.Â

Just downloaded it right now and it's excellent! However, I notice a possible flaw in which whenever I receive a message from someone, it will notify me on both my Mac AND my iPhone! As you might imagine, it's pretty annoying given iMessages are flying through on my Mac. I was wondering if anyone knows how to stop iPhone notifications when messaging on Mac. I hope this feature will be added in ASAP from Apple if it doesn't exist yet!

I cannot seem to get my iCloud calendar to stop sending email notifications to others for every single event I change. I've tried unchecking the box that says "email me when this calendar has changed", to no avail.

Whenever I update anything on my shared calendar, all those who subscribe to it get an email/notification about what I've changed or added. Same if someone who I'm subscribed to updates anything on their calendar, I get an inbox full of emails telling me they have done so. Am I able to stop sending these update emails/notifications? And/or is there a setting to stop receiving these update emails/notifications?

Everytime iPhoto launches I get a login box for logging in to mobileme.com. I used to have an account but do not have one anymore. I just want to delete the mobileme icon from the leftside icons in iPhoto.

My iPhoto has not been responding for a couple weeks. I was able to find my photos under recent pictures and I have them saved in a folder. Yesterday I installed snow leopard and today lion so I can get iCloud. iPhoto is still not responding. I'm not the one who usually does the computer stuff.

New Macbook pro have the latest version of iphoto but it has online file sharing with MobileMe and not icloud. My new ipad has iphoto and it has projects and photo sharing via icloud. Does anyone know how to get the version for the macbook pro that has projects and icould publishing/sharing. I have checked for updates via the app store and downloaded the latest update 9.2.2 but get messages saying this version can only be updated via the app store. I have deleted the app and re downloaded from the app the store yet the version is still the same and mobile me is the sharing option.Â

I have photo albums in iWeb that I would like to move to iPhoto. My computer crashed and some of the pictures on iWeb are the only ones I have. I have seen all the instruction on how to move pictures over from iGallery but, not iWeb.Â

In the last few weeks when I open iphoto on my iMac (OS 10.7.3) I get the following error message, "MobileMe didn't recognize the stored password for (my name)'s MobileMe account". As far as I can remember, I never had a MobileMe account, but I did put in the password I use for my Apple account and it rejected it. I created a brand new password, and it still wouldn't recognize it. I don't care about MobileMe and I have other Cloud accounts, so I just want to get rid of this annoying error message. Where do I go to stop this message for good? I have looked everywhere I could think of. I also checked on my iPad. My contacts and calendars are successfully synching.

Just wondering if I'm missing the place where iPhoto is actually giving a status of a "pending" item as far as if it's processing it somehow or, uploading it or what...
I've got a few vids that I shot while on my honeymoon in a gallery of pics in iPhoto and they seem to be taking FOREVER to upload to my mobileme galleries.

I want to backup my iPhoto library, format my MacBook Pro, and then re-install iLife 09. I'm aware that the best/easiest way to backup my iPhoto library is to copy the package file under Username/Pictures to an external hard drive, then format my computer, re-install the software, run iPhoto for the first time (so that it creates an empty database), quit iPhoto, and then paste my old library over the newer library.
My question is this... When I do the above-mentioned steps, will my Facebook and MobileMe Galleries be in tact? I'm most worried about my Facebook Galleries as I have many with many of the photos on Facebook having multiple comments and tags on them. It would be a real shame to lose any of that on Facebook.

I'm unable to move to iCloud because my MobileMe password is not recognized by my Mac.There's no link for "Forgot your password" so I can't go back and change it! How can I move to iCloud with this problem? Also, the password doesn't work on my iPhone either.

I'm using this software with my MobileME account, and an error occurs when I send mails with attachments. I'll give an example: Imagine that I want to send an e-mail to someone, and I want to attach a 10MB file to it. When I do that, the e-mail takes quite some time to send, because I'm not sending 10MB but... 3 or 4 times more!
Exactly. This happens over and over again. The e-mail sent is always 3 or 4 times larger than the original e-mail. I've checked - and re-checked this - several times using iStat widget. If I send a 10MB e-mail, the total upload is going to be over 30MB!

I have migrated on both my MacPro and MBP to iCloud, I assume my iPhone has too. So every now and again this message pops up (on Mac Pro) " You entered an invalid MobileMe member name or password. Verify your MobileMe member name and password in MobileMe System Preferences." click [OK] a few times and it goes away for a while... click [open mobileMe preferences] and get message "Your MobileMe account has been upgraded (!!) to iCloud"

Something is wrong with my mail client. Even though I am 100% certain that the password is correct (I get mail on my iPhone and when I log onto iCloud site), my mail will not accept the password. I've tried even to delete the account and set it up again, but that doesn't work either.
