I changed my password on itunes and mobile me (the same). When I went to my email on my mac (not mobile me) I can't get any email it does not recognize the new or the old one?

I'm unable to move to iCloud because my MobileMe password is not recognized by my Mac.There's no link for "Forgot your password" so I can't go back and change it! How can I move to iCloud with this problem? Also, the password doesn't work on my iPhone either.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy MB Pro has 1 user login, it's never been changed, re-created, etc.I can login to the laptop no problem, I can goto the User control panel and change the PW and it shows the single user as the admin.However I can't install software. It comes up and asks me for the password which is then rejected.Beyond reloading the OS not sure what options are. Did a permissions repair but no other luck.

Suffering similar problems to many I Web users, I have read the posts, but haven't managed to solve the problem for my own I Web website. Usual thing when publishing to a private domain the site is not appearing when using the domain in a browser, although the [URL] username site is updating fine. I changed the CNAME as advised[URL] Additionally I have changed the web forwarding to [URL] And no joy. Should I be taking both the above steps or is one sufficient?

I'm currently locked out of my Power Mac G5. While trying to install the latest Java for Mac OS x 10.5 Update 6 from Software Update, my admin. password was rejected as invalid. When I try to change my password in Accounts, my old password is rejected. I've entered this password a thousand times, and, yeah, I'm slightly senile, but caps lock isn't on.

They backed my new laptop up with my old hard drive so now i got my old stuff on the new one. I want to download this application so i can fix this .zip file but i need the admin password. I've tried using the install discs but they tell me to enter the admin. I've tried putting the install disc in and pushing c on start up but it just freezes on the white screen with the apple. Is there something wrong with my computer? should i contact the insurance company who i dealt with?

Every now and then, like just now, when I opened up mail I get a message, : Enter the password for Account MobileMe. The mobile me IMAP server 'mail.me.com rejected the password for user '______' Enter your password again or cancel. Mail normally comes up automatically as the password is stored. But I enter my correct password again and it still rejects it.This has happened before and usually self corrects in a day or so, but still is seriously annoying.My wife's MacBook Pro did this a couple days ago and still wont work. When I tried to check my email on my mac this morning I got a message saying the account was offline. It asked for my mobileme password which I put in but it was rejected with the message:

I also get this pop-up message when I re-enter my password:
"There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “MobileMe” or try again.

I know the password to be correct as I've signed into both my mobileme and icloud accounts online. I switched to an icloud account several weeks ago.
