mobileme doesnt recognize my password in iphoto in my macbook pro, why does this happen? that is the same password for my iphone when i use it for the app store. i know the password is correct, it works everywhere else but in iphoto

I accidentally changed my password this morning when I thought I was doing something else. iCal doesn't recognize either my old password (which I would like to get back) nor my new one (which I'll keep if I have to) and so won't syn with my iPhone.

my GF and a glass of Wine. Cat hits wine and wine hits MBP. The Mac shut off instantly, we acted pretty quick and mopped up and turned upside down. I then took back off and over the course of the next 5 days I have stripped it down completely including the Key board and cleaned as best as I could. I've put it all back together and it starts up, a reassuring tone rings out, then apple sign appears with a loading bar beneath, this takes a while then it reaches the Lion log in page.It still recognizes me, or rather my name as the user but refuses my password which I know is correct.The keyboard isn't backlit but keys are typing something (can't see characters, just dots). Screen brightness works.No back light on keys although this may be normal at this point, not sure.Â

I saw an article that said I needed to migrate from MobileMe to iCloud in System Preferences but that option does not appear for me. I have an old pre-Intel G5 Mac desktop and want to keep using Mobile me Mail and Entourage because they work so well and I have been using them for 10 years. I have checked for updates via the app store and downloaded the latest update 9.2.2 but get messages saying this version can only be updated via the app store. View 1 Replies View RelatedI wonder if you can suggest something? My MBP currently doesn't recognise the printer I have (HP OfficeJet 6210, which has worked before with this computer). In fact the list of printer models under "add printer" is now empty. So it doesn't detect any printer and I can't suggest any printer for it to detect. I tried reinstalling the "printers" part of Snow Leopard but it didn't change anything. What would be the best thing to do?

I've got a few vids that I shot while on my honeymoon in a gallery of pics in iPhoto and they seem to be taking FOREVER to upload to my mobileme galleries.
I want to backup my iPhoto library, format my MacBook Pro, and then re-install iLife 09. I'm aware that the best/easiest way to backup my iPhoto library is to copy the package file under Username/Pictures to an external hard drive, then format my computer, re-install the software, run iPhoto for the first time (so that it creates an empty database), quit iPhoto, and then paste my old library over the newer library.
My question is this... When I do the above-mentioned steps, will my Facebook and MobileMe Galleries be in tact? I'm most worried about my Facebook Galleries as I have many with many of the photos on Facebook having multiple comments and tags on them. It would be a real shame to lose any of that on Facebook.

I recently bought a new macbook pro (my first mac) and love it. However, after importing about 4700 photos into iphoto, no faces were detected. I tried going into the iphoto package/folder and deleting the files that included the name face in them, which forced iphoto to rescan all the photos again for faces. However, the second time no faces were detected again. Not sure what the problem is. I have searched around here and on google and no one else seems to be having this problem.
