Jan 14, 2007can anyone tell me what i may be doing wrong? i am trying to create a movie using video clips from my camera. when i download my movies to iphoto, they work great. when i drag them to imovie, they play but i do not get any sound. the 3 little check marks are there but still no sound!

We put it on a USB to get it on my Macbook Air, but when I try to open it on my computer, it says that quicktime player can't open it. My friend downloaded an app called Smart Converter, which converts movies into a quicktime file that you can us on your mac, but that didn't work either. I really need to get this video on my mac, what can i do?

Jun 5, 2010I've got a really annoying problem on my mac that I'd do anything to get rid of. When I play a streamed movie or tv programme off the net (ie from iplayer or 4OD) firstly the mouse doesn't disappear after 3-4 seconds and is always visible on screen and secondly on some occasions the screen just goes white! I have to quit playback and then go back to full screen to get rid of it.

Aug 25, 2009I have this problem a wile now. When I play music (or watch a movie) I can hear there is something wrong with my sound output. It's hard to describe, but is is like someone is playing with an equalizer. The high pitch sounds (voices) are constantly changing in volume. maybe the basses to, but its hard to hear that. BUT, the strange thing is, when I play something in windows (parallels) it is much better... The bass is here more dimmed for some reason.

Feb 13, 2012I recently rented a movie for my son to watch, but have not been able to view it because iTunes is telling me that my computer is not authorized to view the movie. It gives me the option of authorizing the computer if I enter my iTunes Store password. I do and it gives me the same error message with the opportunity to again enter my password. If I click CANCEL it tells me what I already knew, and that is that the computer is already authorized. The rental purchase was made from this Mac and yet I'm not able to purchase it. Is there something that needs to be fixed in order to play this, or is this a bug in iTunes 10.5.3?

What's odd is if I check for available downloads, it downloads the movie all over again expct it still won't play.

Apr 2, 2009I'm helping a friend out who's selling a Mac with legit copies of Leopard, iLife, iWork, and CS3 loaded on. We are supplying the disks and original packaging to the buyer as well. We're wondering if there's a way we can install all of that software from the disks, setup the person's user account with the info they provided us and at the very least, set the computer/Leopard to play the "Welcome to OS X" movie again one time. If possible, we'd like it to take the user through the initial setup again too, but I don't see how that could be possible considering you have to have a user account setup to install programs.

Jan 31, 2010Just bought a new Canon Digital Camera, and took some Photos, and High Def videos (720p) with it. Came home, plugged the camera in, and my G4 found all the photos and movies, and I downloaded them to the proper folders. Problem: When Quicktime plays the movies, the sound is fine, but the video is completely slow, stuttering and hardly moves. Its unwatchable. My G4 is 1.4 gb Processor, and 2 Gb of Sdram. Fast, SATA Hard drives. It has the original AGP Video card that came with the Mac. Is my problem the Video card, or the G4 system itself.

Apr 8, 2012I am on an older computer system OX 10.4.11 and safari has made my computer unusable it crashes everytime I try to do anything especially when I try to watch a youtube movie and/or even try to open a youtube account. I have tried to suggestions on the forum i.e. clean up cache, reset safari, clean up cookies, etc., etc. but my computer still crashes with Safari.
