For example, my OS X is 10.6.4. If I do the full backup will the 6.4 update backup too or when restoring the full backup I will need to update again from 6.2?

Oct 26, 2010I was looking at the site for the new macbook air and noticed the usb backup/restore drive that's included.
I think it's really cool and very thin, and is a great design for a consumer flashdrive. Do you think apple would do this? Or leave this little thing for the mba backup only?
Of course i know there are plenty of other flashdrives out there that work perfectly, but i was just thinking that maybe apple could do something cool for them like something Mac OSX specific (such as how sandisk has that "u3" interface that only works on windows)

Mar 11, 2012I have a MacBook Air and a Time Capsule - both from november 2011.Using Time Machine is givning me som problems.It works fine for some days, an is backing up as planned.But at least 5 times since I got the Time Capsule, Time Machine is asking to make a full Backup, and when I look in Time Machine, it says that there is no "old backup". It has been runing since november 2011.When I start a new backup, as it ask for, it takes at least 24 hours to finish - some times even longer.Is this normal? If not, what do I do?

Laptops :: Burn A Full Length Film On Dvd From PC Using DVD Clone?
Sep 15, 2009Can anyone explain to me why when I burn a full length film on dvd from my PC using DVD Clone, I can rip the dvd and burn it from the hard drive without compressing. A very simple process. But on the mac the dvd has to be ripped with MTR, or similar, then compressed, then burned using Toast or Popcorn or something similar. Why are these added steps not necessary on a PC. I don't understand.

Nov 25, 2010Every time I try to export a movie in iMovie or burn a disk in iDVD an error message pops up and says that my startup disk is full. So I bought an external hard drive and backed up my mac using Time Machine. Now I want to delete everything off my mac's internal Hard Drive and use my external hard drive so I can empty my disk. Jun 4, 2012I have been using itunes for many years and have burned countless cd's. Suddenly on many of my standard sized playlists I am getting the 'the songs in this playlist will not fit on one audio cd' prompt and nothing I do seems to fix it. A typical playlist size is 18 songs, 1.2 hours, under 200mb, and all of this should fit fine on an 80min., 700mb cd. I have tried changing from audio to mp3 in the burning preferences, then to a data cd {which actually looks like it sort of worked, but put the songs in artists alphabetical order- rearranging my entire mix}.. Since I imported my library from an older IMac to a newer one- many songs are cutting off at some random point in the song.. and, oddly enough, if an entire album the cut-off time is the same for every song in that album..

Once I run the installer of Simbl and dragged the Megazoomer into my Library/Application Support folder. It doesn't work. It just makes a sfx noise that nothing is working.
When I press cmd + enter, it won't work. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
