OS X V10.7 Lion :: Auto-mator Importing Only One Photo?
May 19, 2012I'm using automator to monitor a folder and, when changed, import the photos into Aperture. It works in that the script kicks in when pictures are added, but it stops at importing one file.
It's a simple workflow - I have it ask for confirmation then after I hit "OK" the import function starts. Problem is that it stops after it imports one file. What more information do you need to diagnose?

OS X :: Deleted Address Book Contacts By Accident And They Aren't In The Trash?
Dec 12, 2009I just created my address book with tons of email addresses and mail addresses. Was happy that was done, started to make groups and as I was dragging and dropping, creating a new group, suddenly there were only two vcards showing. I did undo add to group and undo selected card and that was the furthest I could go back to undo. Now I only have 2 addresses. I checked the trash bin and there is nothing in there from address book, no recovered files either. I searched and found a $99 service to to recover files but don't want to pay - seems that there should be some other way. What happened, and what can I do to find all of those contacts again?

Nov 4, 2010I was downloading some fonts from [URL] because I was going to use them in some software. Now it told me to just double click the file and hit "install" I did that and then this window came up and I hit the little + sign to add them. And then it started copying all my fonts I think? I stopped it and then it sowed a bunch of them that were not there? So I basically hit the install button it came up with coulombs in one window. The left coulomb had a list of my name my computer and all that. The middle coulomb said the three fonts I wanted to install.
So in the bottom on the middle coulomb there was a little plus sign + I hit it and it looked like it started copying all my fonts. So now I am stuck. Also once I had canceled the install/copy/who knows what. There was a message under I believe 4-6 fonts that were all in the middle coulomb that said some warning! About the font having multiple or something. Also is said I could use a command to resolve this or something? I don't want to damage my computers software!

May 2, 2012A couple weeks ago I spilled some water on my open MacBook Pro. I turned it off immediately, wiped off the water and let it dry out. I took it to an IT center nearby and they took everything apart and made sure it was dry before they tested anything. When I went to go pick it up, they said that one of my RAM sticks had gotten damaged and aside from a small amount of corrosion on my motherboard, everything seemed fine. I the computer runs pretty smoothly now, I can acess the internet fine and the majority of my apps work. The problem comes when I want to access any saved files. I can't open Finder, I can't attach files to an email and I cant turn off my computer without forcing it to shut down by pressing and holding the power button.
