ITunes :: Smart Playlist Is Pulling Up Songs That Were Deleted?
Apr 9, 2012I deleted some songs from my library (and computer) but they still show up in a smart playlist (the playlist pulls by 'year'). The playlist cannot find the locations but why does the smart playlist still look for them even though they don't exist in the library anymore? Also, when I sync my iPod it says that it cannot sync the deleted songs. I have tried deleting the playlist and creating a new one, but it still pulls up the ghost songs.

Jul 1, 2010My iTunes music files were stored on an external hard drive. But, unfortunately, the iTunes library file must have been on the laptop hard drive. Now, when I open iTunes music library and playlists are empty, despite my having 120GB of music on the connected hard drive.
Short of dragging and dropping all the music files into the iTunes window, is there any other way of "telling" iTunes where to find my music? I have tried "organize library" and nothing happens.

Sep 5, 2010I just updated my iTunes but it appears it deleted my library. This sucks because I have spent hours upon hours sorting it, renaming crooked song titles, finding covers and all that stuff. I used time machine to back up my computer like 5 days ago, but I can't figure out how to use it. I wish I could just select that given day (when I made my last backup) and make it turn everything back to what it was back then. How do I do this exactly? Nov 4, 2010I was downloading some fonts from [URL] because I was going to use them in some software. Now it told me to just double click the file and hit "install" I did that and then this window came up and I hit the little + sign to add them. And then it started copying all my fonts I think? I stopped it and then it sowed a bunch of them that were not there? So I basically hit the install button it came up with coulombs in one window. The left coulomb had a list of my name my computer and all that. The middle coulomb said the three fonts I wanted to install.
So in the bottom on the middle coulomb there was a little plus sign + I hit it and it looked like it started copying all my fonts. So now I am stuck. Also once I had canceled the install/copy/who knows what. There was a message under I believe 4-6 fonts that were all in the middle coulomb that said some warning! About the font having multiple or something. Also is said I could use a command to resolve this or something? I don't want to damage my computers software!
