I have 2 different accounts / Names on my Macbook Pro. every one of these has its own special definitions I want to keep. How can I megre these 2 accounts into one?
I have two [URL] accounts. One fairly old me.com account where most of my addresses and stuff are. The other account recently got moved to iCloud (it's part of a me.com family acocunt). I wish to remove the account currently on iCloud and merge it's data back into the [URL]account. But I'm unsure about how to proceed best. I have been burned in the past with this kind of activity, specifically with apple services. Is there a safe way of merging data back and forth between the accounts?
Recently when trying managing my AppleID account, I was asked to make my appleID the same as my email. When I tried to do this, I was then told that an appleID by that name already existed. So I then attempted to login using my email address as my appleID. It was then that I realized that I have two separate appleIDs. One I have had for years, and has tons of music associated with it, the other I must have created in the last year when updating my iPhone software version. I have no idea how much of what is associated with the new one, but I think the only way I could find out would be to format my phone and start again. This sounds like a terrible test to conduct on myself.how one can merge two separate appleID accounts
I just upgraded to Lion and moved my MobileMe info to the iCloud. Unfortunately, Apple has created two different iCloud accounts. For the primary account, it wants me to create a new .me email address. I want to use my existing one, but it is listed as a non-primary account, and I can't figure out any way to merge the two.
Is there a way to merge two separate iTunes accounts into one? I don't want to "share libraries." I just want one account that once stemmed from two seperate accounts and has all of the purchases and history.

I'm setting up daughter new MacBook Pro, migrating data from her old white MacBook. We used Migration Assistant to import her apps and documents from the old laptop. Now she has two user accounts: the one she initially set up on the new MacBook Pro, and the old account we brought over from the old machine. And there are iTunes libraries in each of these user accounts -- I believe they're both set up under the same iTunes account. Â
In addition to the two OS X libraries, there's her iPhone, which was synced with the old white MacBook account. Â
So... what's the best way to merge them all into one (duplicate-free) iTunes library on the new MacBook Pro, and switch the iPhone to sync with the new machine?
I transferred my old mac to a new mac using migration assistant and it created another user account on the new machine. Is there a way to merge the two accounts into one on the new machine?
I think i may have two iCloud accounts as i changed my apple id, I don't seem to be able to access the other. How can i see my documents in the cloud .
I used one computer to back up my Iphone, then when I got a new Iphone I used another computer. I would like to use the second computer from now on. They both have different information from the phones. I would like to merge the two accounts on the second computer so that all the information is put back onto the new phone.Â
I do not want to erase and replace. The two computers are not connected in any way. I do not have sharing turned on at this time. how to get the information from the first computer to the second computer. Step by step. and also how to merge the two accounts without losing any information.Â
I have 2 app store accounts on my mac, how can i merge them? I purchased applications with my me.com e-mail and with my personal e-mail. With updates they ask me to change accounts. I do not know how and I just want to have 1 apple ID...

I am not sure how it happened but after upgrading the gmail account, the user accounts were changed from standard users to Mobile Me users. None of the users has ever had that type of account, and I am trying to figure out how to get it back to a standard user account. When the user attempts to log in, it asks for the user name, but also the Mobile Me user name (which they do not have). to make it worse, Mobile Me is no longer accpting new users, so I annot just add an account and log in using the new info.
I have recently noticed that all of my accounts have become Standard accounts. I no longer have Administrator privileges for my computer (MacBook). I tried going through Root to change my normal account back to Administrator but according to my accounts preference pane even my Root account is listed as standard. I can check the allow user to be an administrator on this computer but it does not save this preference and will un-check once another user is selected or the window is closed.
I have also tried creating a new account through single user mode but again to no avail. How would I go about fixing this problem? I would like to install some new software and some software is no longer working the way it once did since this change.
I have around 10 different e-mail addresses that I check in Apple mail. All are POP3-configured, but now I want to change ALL of those account types to IMAP. On exactly the same server. Is this possible in any way...? By editing some config files or anything...?I just came back to Mac after a long period away, having just discovered the geniality of IMAP-mail.
After repeatedly watching the tutorial for using Pages 09 and Numbers 09 to do a mail merge I am no further forward!Â
I have a letter, as described, I click on 'Inspector', then try to click the blue circle, but the word 'Merge' is grayed out and I can get no further.Â
I have over 3,000 songs on iTunes, which are on my old PC. I bought a new Mac Book Pro this past fall and would like to transfer my old library to my new library on my Mac book pro.. How do I do that without erasing my new library?
I have a Mac pro and i wanted to partition my hard drive to put windows on it, i have managed to partition it but know cant find a windows disc,How do i merge the hard drive back into 1?
Mobile Me provided the facility to replace all data on a device from the data on Mobile Me. I have updated my contacts on my iMac. I let iCloud update my newer Mac Book Air but ended up with duplicates Now I want to update my Mac Book Pro which hasn't been used for 4 months and contains all the old contact information I edited off my other two machines. iCloud says the contacts data from my MBP will be MERGED with the data on iCloud. That suggests I will be letting myself in for a complete re-edit again and repeating work already done on the other devices.Â

I have contacts from exchange account from work, gmail account and some in iCloud but I want to merge all these into either iCloud or gmail... How should I go about it?
I have multiples files (type PDF) that is mostly singled page and want to "combine" or "merge" into one file that contains all the single PDF file. Instead of opening up and drag-move one at a time, is there a quicker, efficient way?
A friend's G4 iMac has died - possibly with a fried mainboard - and she didn't have a backup of her Address Book, which is a big problem for her. I've pulled the hard drive and using an IDE-to-USB adapter on my MBP have confirmed that it's still working.
We need to merge the Address Book details from the G4 HD into the Address Book on her MacBook - so at the risk of asking a dumb question, what's the best way of doing this?
I've just taken a look at the Address Book import options, and it looks like "Import... Address Book archive" might be what we want, but do you need to have specifically exported an archive first (which of course she hasn't, and won't be able to do anyway), or by "archive" does it mean "older version of Address Book"? I don't want to try it without getting some kind of clarification first, just in case it wipes the existing contacts from her MacBook rather than simply merge the ones from the old drive.
Have .mac accounts become mobileme accounts? Also I was under the impression that with said account I would be able to upload files which could be downloaded later by myself or whomever I gave the password to? Am I correct or simply severely misguided?
Can I merge multiple files, and multiple file types, into a single PDF with my MacBook Pro?, Can I merger multiple files, and multiple file types, into a single PDF with my MacBook Pro?Â
I need to combine word docs, .jpgs, .PDFs, .pptx files from multiple sources into a single PDF. In the past I've used software such as Nuance but I'm wondering if there's something in the MacBook Pro OS or applications that support this function.Â
