MacBook Air :: Keeps Telling - Signed On With A Different Apple ID
Jun 21, 2014
My two mac computers are linked just fine. But recently every time I try to go on itunes it says that I am signed on with a different Apple ID. I have not changed my ID's in a long time. I'm not sure why they are asking for this. Its getting to be a drag. where I can find my Apple ID and take a look at it in order to see if maybe someone else changed it??Â
Why am I getting this error message every time I open iTunes? I'm giving the option of Sync or don't Sync and click sync and there are no problems. But why does it open with: You are signed in with a different Apple ID than previously used with Podcasts. Do you want to sync these podcast subscriptions and stations with?
i bought windows 7 for my recently purchased macbook pro so i could play star trek online. i installed both but apparently windows is not recognizing my Nvidia geforce 320, 256 mb graphics card it just shows up in windows as Standerd VGA graphics adaptor. When i run i diagostic on directx it says creating 3d graphics is impossible so when i finally try to run the game it says cannot create 3D3.
I have deleted everything on my computer except for my music and I don't see how it could possibly be full. It won't let me download anything. I just bought a movie on Itunes and i can't download it. What do I do?
I had a few issues with my mac book pro. So I went to apple and they replaced my hardrive. I have had it back for one day and it has come up with a screen telling me to restart my laptop?? Not sure what to do?
After reading about the Wake-on-Demand feature of Snow Leopard, it got me thinking about why I never put my iMac to sleep.
The reason is because if i put it to sleep, I lose my network connection.
In other words, the only reason I keep my iMac awake: to stay signed on with iChat.
(There's other stuff too, like downloading something or seeding a torrent, but they are very rare occasions, and I wouldn't mind turning sleep off for those, then turn it back on once done).
I think AIM or Apple should introduce a feature where you can stay signed on even after you disconnect, like how it works with the iPhone. That way your computer can go to sleep, and you will still receive your messages. You will receive them as soon as you wake up your Mac and re-connect to the internet.
This has been happening recently. I get an error message from Adium, saying I have been "Signed on at another location". First thing I do is change my password. 2 days later, i get the same message!! I have again changed my password. The strength of the passwords are "strong". My original one was "Strong" in the first place. I honestly hope this is a bug or something, because I don't want a hacker on my hands...I haven't signed on MSN on anyone else's computer recently either.
I have a number of signed mail messages in my inbox. However, there is absolutely no indication about this signature visible. According to this KB there should be an icon, plus the possibility to view the certificate: [URL] ....
Other mail applications show the icon, so I am 100% sure that the messages are signed.Â
When I sign in to i cloud, I click on keep me signed in. For some reason during the same day when I go out of i cloud and come back to it I have to sign in again. It does not seem to follow instruction "keep me signed in" any ideas ? how to insure I am signed in and stay signed in for a period of time what is keep me signed in- what is period of time you are signed in?
I just signed into my msn on my Macbook today to find all my messenger contacts blocked, and whenever I tried to unblock them it didn't do anything.
Also when I signed on, almost all the contacts I had showed up like new contact requests, where I had the option to add them or ignore the request. When I used my windows PC with Windows Live, everything was normal and no contacts were blocked.
I am using Messenger:mac version 7.0.2 (090123) as far as I know, that is the most recent version.
Finder keeps telling me I don't have privileges when trying to move, delete or change a file on my desktop. everything else on my computer works fine and I can change files or folders in my docs or my other folders.
I've had a 1tb western digital hard drive for over a year. In which time I've used it to capture hours upon hours of hdv footage through fcp on my old macbook, with out any problems.
However I have recently bought a brand new imac and when I tried to set the same hdd as my scratch disk, in fcp, a msg comes up saying "The selected disk is formatted using FAT32 which has a 4gb file size limit." And sure enough when i try to copy a file which has a size greater than 4gb on to the drive "the operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occured (error code 0)" pops up!!
First time burning on a Mac... getting pissed - should be easier than this. I fumbled around for a while and now have a "Burn Folder" folder on my desktop with 3.7 GB of files I need to burn. When I open the file, click "Burn", it tells me to "Insert a Blank Disc to Begin" Okay, seems like I'm making progress... until I insert a blank DVD-R (4.7 GB)... nothing. It ignores the disc.
If I insert the DVD-R separate from the burn folder, I get a window asking me what I want to do, e.g. "Open Disc Utility, etc." none of which seem to be remotely related to burning a DVD... I thought these things were supposed be intuitive.... grrr.... I can't believe I've been I'm spending this much time burning a #$*%ing disc!
Today at office we were playing with a little remote helicopter, it was hilarious, in the meanwhile we where browsing on safari, but suddenly Safari stop responding, but hey NO BEACH BALL, and then we started hearing some sound, we thought it was from some flash video on some web page, but then we heard our voices, we were like WTF, and then we heard the helicopter, we were amazed, haha, now safari has new built-in func, "Safari 5 records sounds without telling you", of course we just force quit safari, but wait, it didn't quit, we went to terminal and kill the process..
I just wanted to let you know what just happen to us.
I accidently deleted Safari and now I can't reinstall because it keeps telling me there is a newer version on my computer. The issue is my system does not support the newer version.
My iMac has iChat installed so I downloaded the package for an update to iChat. When I try to run the package it comes to a disk selection and shows a yellow spot on every drive I have on my machine and a remark saying "Disk is not suitable"
I am trying to download an app and it keeps telling me to enter a another payment method to the one i already have but i don't have one i only have one account what should i do?
It keeps telling me to open iSync so that I can sync my address books. I have no iSync. It's not in my apps. It's not on my computer. Can't find where to download it.Â
