I have a new iMac purchased today. It has the MagicMouse and for some reason that is not working properly.When I swipe my finger over the mouse (up or down) the web page or application window does not scroll. I have to move the mouse over to the scroll bar, grab it and scroll that way.

I had this same problem a few weeks ago and was told to do a Restart, I did and the problem went away.

After the recent software updates to MagicPrefs (to Version 1.6.0 (30)) I have noticed my MagicMouse will loose its connection to the MacPro several times a day. It reconnects after 5 seconds or so. Batteries in the mouse are fine.
Anyone else notice this?
Ever since I got a new Mac Pro running Lion, with a Magic Mouse, all of my desktop windows suddenly all disappear. I do not have any hot corners set in preferences, nor in MagicPrefs. This is really annoying. I have to click each active application to get its window to reappear.
What is causing this, and how do I stop it and restore all windows at one fell swoop?Sometimes, all the windows slowly march to the sides of the screen.

I have got a new magic mouse but it does not scroll, the scrolling feature does not show in mouse preferences, it only shows tracking speed and double-click speed. In Bluetooth preferences it says the mouse is connected and paired, but in Keyboard & Mouse Bluetooth preferences the keyboard name is there and it shows the battery level, but shows no name or battery level for the mouse.

The scroll wheel can scroll up just fine, but scrolling down, it literally only scrolls down a fraction of a pixel (if that's even possible) per finger flickr/scroll.
I opened the Mouse panel from System Preferences and adjusted the Scroll setting, but no luck.
My wired mouse model A1152 suddenly will not scroll upwards. Also, occasionally, it starts scrolling on its own and IÂ can't control it.

A new problem has cropped up recently with my MS Word for Mac 2008. Sometimes when I try to scroll, either with the scrolling wheel or by dragging the bar, Word responds slowly and jerkily. Suddenly I can't scroll down using my aqua scroll bar. I can scroll up just fine. This is true whether I'm in Firefox, Safari, or any sort of document-making applications. I open my pages or text edit and I want to write in Spanish. So i switch my lang to Spanish (default system lang is English). But when I visit Safari or Firefox, I want the language to automatically switch in English. I sometimes forget to do this manually and it gets annoying, especially when you start writing in spanish and after some minutes you realize you were actually writing English.
