Since I upgraded to OS X 10.7.3, Safari won't stay connected to the internet, if I am away from the keyboard for more than 120 seconds. My laptop (same operating system, & WiFi network) does not suffer this same problem.

While browsing the web I keep randomly getting messages that my computer isn't connected to the internet. Sometimes I can load a new page in another tab, but when I go back to the tab that wasn't working and refresh it still says I'm still not connected. It seems to go in and out pretty often. I don't have this problem on my pc laptop so I don't think its my DSL. It's happened randomly since I got the Air, but seems much more frequent (probably happened 15 times today).

In trying to fix a connection problem the other day, I snooped around in some areas of my computer that I normally stay safely away from, but I don't believe I actually changed any settings. It turned out to be an error on the part of my ISP and all is well now... except that ever since then, I am stopped in my tracks every 30 minutes by a popup message from Internet Connect that tells me I'm still connected to the internet and asks whether I want to disconnect or stay connected.

I have swapped the working connections with the mac mini in question. Restarts don't always correct the problem. cleared safari history, reset cache, repaired permissions,etc. Computer will work for anywhere between 5 minutes to 1 hour, then lose the internet connection. Using same computer to manage iphone4s (if that matters)

Just got my refurb MacBook the other day--went through the setup process and got up and running, but unfortunately my internet won't stay connected for more than a few minutes, and when it is connected, it is super slow!
Just some background information that's hopefully helpful. My internet has never been great--if all three of my roommates were all using our laptops or if I was downloading something for a while, I would sometimes get kicked off and have to restart my router. Speaking of which, I'm using the wireless obviously through a Linksys router. While the disconnections on my old laptop happened infrequently, I literally can't stay on the internet for more than 10 minutes with my MacBook.
I really want to use my MacBook, but without the internet, it's pretty much just sitting there and I'm forced to use my 4-year-old, dying HP.
I need help in figuring out why my Mac won't hold the network connection. Every time I sit down at my computer I have to re-connect to the home network. This has happened in the past, but after a few times of entering in the info and connecting it will finally hold the information. This time it's been going on for days.imit results to documents?

Safari regularly gives me error that I'm not connected to internet/can't find server. I've gotten so fed up I've downloaded Firefox and don't have the issue with Firefox. since i upgraded to Lion, my computer cannot stay connected to my wifi network, I'm the only user on the network, my iphone and ipad stay connected, when I had snow leopard it stayed connected, but lion boots me off my network every 2 minutes and it takes 10 min to reconnect when coming out of sleep or screen saver.Â

I can not get my mac book pro to stay connected to wireless. it will work connected to ethernet. I have reset all the network settings and I have rennwed the DHCP. I have created a new user.other then reinstalling Lion on my MBP I have done everything I can think of. I just bought a new iMac yesterday at the Apple store. I connected it at home to install a few programs, and the internet worked perfectly. (I also own an older iMac plus a unibody Macbook.) I go to the office today, and the wireless and ethernet cables connect and show bars, but fail to load any pages off the internet. All of the other computers in the office are PCs and connect perfectly fine to the internet using both wifi and ethernet cables. It's just the iMac.

I have a Mid 2009 21inch IMac connected to the external hard drive. I just bought macbook air which i use to connect to my iMac at home via icloud. I am having a issue with Address Book where I enter my Google login info, it seems to connect just fine, but when I close out of preferences and then the app and relaunch it will no longer be connected. The checkmark box for Google syncing becomes unchecked and everything.It was working fine for a while but I recently opened a new Gmail account and have wanted to sync with that one instead.
