I'm using the newest IMac. And the problem is every time I put data using number (iwork) for accounting, the font is very very little almost unable to see by normal. I must pinching my eyes a little bit to see it clearly. Should I change something in setting and how? and this is happen when using safari too. From the first time I bought it, I never change the setting except to change username and password to login in. So I let it all in default version. I'm using IMac 27-inch, Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 processor 3.1GHz intel core i5. Nothing changed since I bought it till now. It's very annoyed and difficult for me to input, edited, even read it as report.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to increase the font size of my mac, but I can't find it anywhere. I should be really simple to do so I'm probably missing something. On windows you just right click the desktop > appearance and bang. How can I do it on the mac? Oh and I don't want to increase the font of safari or finder, i already know how to do that, what I'm looking for is a way to make all fonts bigger (including menus)... just like you do on windows, make all fonts 1.2 times bigger.

A few days ago I was looking for the ability to use an on screen keyboard in OS X. I found the option through System Preferences --> Language & Text --> Input Sources.
After I turned it off (by unchecking Keyboard & Character Viewer) I still see the Keyboard Viewer pop up when I go to install anything. I don't see the Input Menu in my Menu Bar anymore.
Anyone know how to disable it for good?
I updated iTunes to 11.4. No sooner had I done that, than I lost the connection to my wireless keyboard (Apple). iMac, OSX 10.7.5..I inserted new batteries into the keyboard. That did not work. My Apple Keyboard connected by wire operates just fine.

Does anybody know how i can get the "Keyboard viewer and character palette" option in menu bar back with the country flag and not the ugly "character palette" icon? sounds ridiculous but under Leopard that was difference.

I am creating a digital album booklet for a band I manage, basically I took a high res photo and type the lyrics of each song over it, then added additional pics, the booklet is roughly 33 pics. I am using Photoshop and saving each file as a PDF, I then plan on combining them all at once. I know there has to be a better way to get this done. Right now each photo is roughly 3.3mb, that's way too big! How do I get the size down?

screen resolution of the MBP 13" is too small to do video/image editing with tools like the iLife suite, Final Cut Express, Photoshop..? And for using developers' tools like XCode? I would use it in my freetime and not for work.. It would be my first MBP and I'm using a 15" laptop with 1680x1050 resolution, so I would loose a lot of pixels, but I don't want to spend so much on a 15"/17" MBP since I do not think they've yet entered the next level Steve Jobs was talking about.. So I would buy a 13" just because I'd really like to jump in the Mac world , and maybe I'll sell it next year when (I hope) there will be much more innovation (maybe new design

I quickly wiped it off and turned off the computer. I let it sit for a while, but I didn't think anything of it because it was only a few drops. I turned it on and it was fine, however the keyboard's backlight is dim on the right side of the keyboard.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if there is a small file size limit to the FAT32 file system. I recently picked up a 1TB WD external with Firewire (pre-formatted FAT32) and have been transferring movies and such fine, but I just tried transferring an HD movie (5GB) and some large .dmg's/.iso's and they all just fail with an error.
Is this a size limitation, and will i need to reformat the drive to fix it, or is there something else I'm missing?

I have an iMac with a 500 GB hard disk. Currently I have two partitions on it. According to Disk Utility one partition is 266 GB in size, the other one 200 GB. That makes a total of 466 GB --> 34 GB missing.Previously I had a Bootcamp-Windows partition of about 30 GB, but I erased it using Disk Utility. However, it seems that the space is still missing. What could be the explanation for this, and how can I get this space back?

My internet connection has always been very fast and I have never had any problems with its speed or loading of web pages. Over the last two day I have experienced extremely slow connection speeds and webpages have been taking forever to load. Is there a setting I can check or cache to empty to help speed up my connection? Or is there a disk cleanup to help get rid of whatever may be causing this problem?

We're hunting for a small printer for a crowded office space. There's a not much desk space or shelf space.
Only need something to print. No scanning, faxing or other functions! Hoping we can get Canon that is compatible with the inkjet 40 and 41 cartridges as we already have a printer that uses those.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I bought my first Mac (macbook) a couple of years ago, I read on this or on another forum about a link where I could print a nice, compact, fold-up, page of keyboard shortcuts. It printed out into 8 small sections on 1 page and was designed to be folded up very compactly and portable. Does anyone remember where I might have got this? I've lost one and the other got wet. I've tried googling with no luck.
