I have tried everything to connect to the App Store but fail 30 times for every hit.When I do get in, downloads fail with a Time Out error.I would just love to give Apple some money for Apps but, so far, no luck!I have tried deleting the suggested /library/preferences *.plist files and altering the network settings but still no luck.All the internet-dependent apps onthe computer work perfectly including iTunes whih logs in and out and allows downloads every time.
On 6 th April my BT homehub2 updated it's firmware and that's when the problems started. Broadband went down completely and powerlineadapters adapters for bt vision fried. After 2 telephone support calls we eventually got the home hub reset and connected to broadband. Bt supplied two new powerlineadapters and bt vision is now working. Laptop, iPhones and iPad (and bt vision) all connect fine and work completely well.Â
My iMac running OS X 10.7.3, appears to work in that it connects no problem to home hub and when you run diagnostics it says your Internet connection appears to be working normally... However I cannot get a web page to load - I have tried chrome, Firefox and safari. The bizarre thing is using Outlook I can send and receive email, also my apple devices are still syncing via the iCloud - that would suggest that the iMac is indeed connecting wirelessly to the router and sending and receiving data - just no web pages at all - also it can't connect to things like iTunes store or apples app store... Everything was working fine until the firmware update! Â
Also may/may not be related but when I log in now I always have to manually connect to router, it always connects fine but it used to do it automatically, also recently upgraded to Lion and I have my doubts there too?Â
I am trying to do updates through the App Store on both my iPhone and my new iPad 3. At first, I kept getting the message that it didn't recognize my password. I reset my password on both of my Apple ID accounts, but now it says "Cannot connect to iTunes store"!!
Updated with the latest patch yesterday. When I start the App Store app I have no apps showing and just receive the message "Cannot Connect to the App Store". I'm using an ethernet connection rather than wifi and have access to the internet (obviously). I eventually managed to sign out of my itunes account to see if logging back in would help, but when I click sign in nothing happens.Â
I'm trying to buy a song from iTunes but it keeps sayin Cannot Connect To iTunes Store and I have good Ethernet connection I'm able to look for songs and listen to them. Is anybody having trouble connecting to iTunes?
For the past week or so (maybe since the "supplemental update" to OS X or the iOS 5.1 update) I've been unable to connect to the Mac App Store, and my Apple ID is not recognized there. I've tried signing in and out, and I've tried rebooting entirely. Each time, though, I have the same problems with the MAS.

iTunes cannot connect to the iTunes Store after 10.6 (40) 64 bit upgrade... then I created a new User Acount for my wife and I discover that she can connect to the iTunes Store.Â

I have purchased a magazine subscription throught the iTunes store and I download it. I have checked the wireless network connection and it is good. In the receipt I receveid from Apple for the purchase, when I click on the "report a problem" link, I get a message which says unable to connect to the iTunes store.
Who can help me to solve this problem? Starting the App Store, I immediately get the message: One Moment Please.Connecting to the iTunes Store.LoadingThis message stays on my screen until removal.
It connects to the net fine, however, some websites don't work. Yahoo mail for example, comes up with "Safari can't open the page "url..." because Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server "login.yahoo.com" ", however, if i try access Yahoomail on the iMac (where I am now), it works fine.
also, when I access the mac app store, I can view "featured" "top charts" "catergories" and "updates", and I can download a new app, however, when I click on "Purchases" I says "cannot connect to the app store". again, on the iMac, using the same apple ID, I can access purchases. I'm trying to download my app purchases to my new computer but it isnt working.

So I bought wacom to go with my macbook air hoping that i would be able to use it in typed .doc files and unfortunately was not able to do this with Microsoft word 2011. Are there any other applications available that would allow me to do this?
I recently switched my iPhone account to a new computer, and I can't figure out how to make my computer recognize my apps on my phone. I have a new email that i use for my iTunes stuff and it works, but on my phone it doesn't recognize the new email and it shows the old email and asks for the password, but even my old password doesn't work. I'm so frustrated How can I make my phone change the old email to the new one? The only problem is for the App Store.
I found that I was logged into the app store. So, I then signed out... This was not letting me in and kept telling me I did not know my password. After logging/signing out, I found I was to sign in... I attempted, seems it does not recognize my password. I keep getting , "Cannot connect to the App store." General:All this has come from security issues and not having systems software to - refresh- my software.  I foud in key chains there were certificates I could not delete. So, I went in and changed them all to "never Trust." It appears as certificates come up I go in and mark them as "Trust" which I really do not like. PS I am on a MacBook using OX 10.7.3?
From a certain moment now i could not surf on some web sites as Facebook (really long to open, then html text on the left,[URL]etc) also when i want to update my apps on iTunes, he sais cannot connect to iTunes store, weired. I already empty the cache, and cookies on Firefox, dosent do anything, oh! I reside in Spain and I've recently opened a joint account with a US resident here in Los Angeles at Charles Schwab bank.The financial consultant told us it's possible to deposit checks into schwab account through an app for iphone [URL]I've tried to download but it appears the following window: "your application has not been able to complete" and "The article you requested is not available at this time in Spanish Store, but is available in the U.S. Store. Click Change Store to view this article". If I click to change the Store from the Spanish to the American store, I have to fill the data but my ID apple is not working on the "foreign" store. What can I do? Is there a way to buy / download items from a different Itunes stores?Â
Over the year I have collected 10+ visa giftcards and now want to buy a upgraded iMac. I know the online apple store only allows for two credit cards, which the visas count as, but if I go to a retail store do they still restrict you or can I use visa giftcards as much as I want. Â
I have been trying to find my current charges for apps and wish to return the ones that are not suitable. I follow the steps as described and after signing I have gotten the message cannot find iTunes store and it leaves me there. The instructions given do not pertain to the setup of the iTunes store.
Have just upgraded my macbook to Lion. I logged into the app store, bought, downloaded and installed Lion no problem.
After upgrade I returned to the app store to download ibooks author. I can find ibooks author but when I try and install the app I have to sign in and I get a "connection failed" error message.
The same happens in iTunes when I try and view my account - "The network connection failed"Â
I can access the internet with no problems - including secure sites. I can access software update with no problems.Â
I have made no changes to my network settings - could sign in and download apps before upgrade, unable to after upgrade.
All of a sudden a notification badge has appeared on the Apple Store icon on my MacBook Pro dock. While it seems there is an update for an app that I once downloaded, there is no indication as to how I can download the update.
