View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to download Lion, the download sign in window appears and is populated with someone else's Apple ID. If I change the ID to mine and use my password I get 2 messages:Â "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)" Click OK and 2nd message: "Unknown Error"Â Â iTunes does not exhibit this, and normal sign in to App Store shows correct ID, only the Download Authentication does this. I have been able to update other Apps just fine, this requires a purchase, and is the only difference.

By mistake the Mac OS X Lion (10.7.4) file was deleted from the purchase section (Order Number: MGN5FKZ58X) of the Apple App Store. Because of this I am unable to update the OSX Lion software and now If I try to update/download the version from the Apple Store I will be charged again, because earlier on the OSX Lion page in the Apple App Store the option mentioned was either Install or Download, but since the deletion of the file from the purchase section the option shows $29.9. Why should I buy it again when I had already purchased the software. Is there a way to retrieve my previous purchase. I was given an option from the Apple App Consumer Support that downloading and paying for the software again is the only option.

I have a credit card for one of my companies that I used to buy the iPhone and create an Apple ID for purchases on the app store. Subsequent to that I created a new company, with its own credit card, and created a new Apple ID specifically for purchases for that company. Now when I go to make a purchase on the app store with my iPhone how do I switch between the two Apple IDs so that the purchase I make uses the appropriate credit card?

I need to make a bootable DVD or USB flash drive for Lion. Following instruction found here and in various other places, I visited the App Store and bought Lion... the App Store 'download' says that it is now "Installing," not downloading. I can see no action in either my Downloads or Application folders.Â

I have some apps that I bought sometimes ago when I'm still living in newzealand. Now I moved to other country permernantly. Therefore, I have to change newzealand mac app store to us mac app store(Apple forces me, because my new credit card is us base). Â
Problem is, I have to switch back to newzealand store everytime I needed to install something, then switch back to US store to install some other thing. that's annoying.Â
Now, I can rebuy the apps that I've already have for my US store, but that's hideus, why should I pay twice for the same thing ? Is that the best if Apple let me transfer the apps ? what big deal about it ? beside's the country flag the apps are rather look and cost the same, why don't let me do it?
Updated with the latest patch yesterday. When I start the App Store app I have no apps showing and just receive the message "Cannot Connect to the App Store". I'm using an ethernet connection rather than wifi and have access to the internet (obviously). I eventually managed to sign out of my itunes account to see if logging back in would help, but when I click sign in nothing happens.Â

For the past week or so (maybe since the "supplemental update" to OS X or the iOS 5.1 update) I've been unable to connect to the Mac App Store, and my Apple ID is not recognized there. I've tried signing in and out, and I've tried rebooting entirely. Each time, though, I have the same problems with the MAS.

I am trying to make a purchase from the App Store in Snow Leopard 10.6.8, but can't make any purchases. When I try to purchase, I get the message, "Additional security information is needed. To use this Apple ID you must first login to the my info web page then provide additional security information." But when I click on Update Security Info, it brings me to a page at [URL] but the page will not load, and it says that Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server. I have also tried it in Firefox and it does not work there either. I went to the Apple Store online, and updated my account info with the proper credit card and information, but it has not helped. What is going on here. This is for my bosses account and not my account, and we need to purchase some software for this machine, but are completely unable.Â

I submitted the card's code, and my computer accepted it, however, when i went to buy the app, it sent me to my billing information. After confirming everything, I clicked "done" and it sent me back to the home screen with a loading wheel and it hasn't stopped since.
