Applications :: Lost IWeb Pages - Puting Latest Website Back Onto Iweb?
Nov 9, 2010I accidentally double-clicked on a file named "Domain" which was really a backup file of my Site. My problem is that I had backed up my site a long time ago, after which i have made many changes. Now when I open iWeb it takes me back to the original days of the site. I still have the desired folder in "Sites", but can seem to get in onto iWeb. Is there any way to put my latest site back onto iweb?
I haven't setup time machine, I publish using Easy iWeb Publisher, I don't have have a Mobileme account

Jan 4, 2011I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.5 with Google Chrome dev version 10.0.612.3. To access your plugins within Chrome, type "aboutlugins" into the omnibox. Then to the right, click on the "+ Detail". Scroll down to see your Quicktime Plugin version. The reason I am asking is as you can see, Chrome says I have an outdated Quicktime Plugin. I followed their link to Apple's Quicktime download page but Apple only offers Quicktime for 10.5 - 10.5.8 ,version 7.6.9 for Leopard. [URL] Anyone able to clear this up?
It says I have to "download a critical security update" for my Quicktime Plugin as you can see from the attachment. The reason this has come to by attention is because the Facebook chat sound notification does NOT work while using Chrome. I did some googling and found that Quicktime may be the problem for the Facebook chat sound notification to not work. So if I do indeed have the latest Quicktime player (7.6.6), then why isn't the sound notification for Facebook not working? Maybe because of something else?

Oct 27, 2010 this has been driving me crazy, I've looked everywhere and the "best" answer I found was resize the window in iWeb and re-make my site. I'm not that experienced in making websites and I don't have the time to do it again (I did an spanish and english version already and made them look pretty good at least for me)
On my mac it looks great, on windows not so much and it takes it a lot to load. But on iPhone or BB it suuux so I wanted to make a mobile version of it but I haven't found a software that can transform it.

Apr 6, 2009For years I've used iTunes' "Create AAC version" .mp3 to .m4a feature in the advanced menu, primarily to reduce the file size of my many thousand mp3 songs.
Since the latest update to iTunes, whenever I do this now, the AAC version file size created by iTunes get larger, and makes the .m4a significantly bigger than an .mp3.
I understood the very point of an AAC/.m4a was to be a smaller sized file of an equivilent .mp3 while keeping a similar quality.
I know large artwork affects the file size, but this still happens regardless of artwork.
Does anyone know what's changed re this feature in this latest update?

I got the spinning color wheel for a while before I can use the app. The spinning beach ball also reveals itself when switching modes within certain apps. Might this be due to my hard drive became much fragmented? My OS is latest version of Snow Leopard. IWeb 09 :: Cannot Update From Newer Version
Oct 8, 2010I only update my web site a few times a year, and since the last time I bought a new computer and have a newer version of iweb. When I try to update my web site (on mobileme), it builds all of the pages and then gives an unknown error and fails. I also can't use the file menu/visit site, which indicates to me that it doesn't recognize my domain as the same site.

Jan 10, 2010I've had an iMac for 8 months now, and I have recently bought a new router as my previous one died after 3 years of service and so I got a new one from BT (I'm in the UK). The new router works with 3 laptops, an iPhone, and two desktop PCs - but not with my iMac.
It intermittently picks up the signal and when it does finally connect, says the router is not connected to the internet - despite my laptop and iPhone being on the same desk and connecting.
