I swear I did this before, but I cannot figure out how to repeat. Is there a way I can get a list (of historical) items that were included on a calendar I created?
I have like 4 calendars that I would like to delete, but want to make sure I don't any tasks in the future on them, or anything historical I would need to keep a record of.
I am trying to duplicate calendar items while preserving their calendar settings + color, and mass move multiple events to another week without manually selecting everything by hand and manually resetting the calendar settings. How can I duplicate and move without doing everything manually?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI belong to a club and shortly they are moving to Google Calendar as a way of publishing their events on-line. From what I have read else where, it is possible for them to publish their events publicly, so that they are searchable and anyone can add them to their own Google calendar.
Would it then be possible for me to view their public Google calendar in iCal? If not, could I achieve the same out come by setting up my own intermediate Google Calendar, which took the clubs feed, and then use iCal to view that? I don't wish to share information back, just add their info to my own calendar automatically. So that if an event is added/deleted or changed, my calendar is automatically updated when I view it.
We have an older IMac (preIcloud) and just purchased a new Macbook Air. Our Iphones are set-up to synch with the IMAC and my calendars on the IMac & the phone look the same. But when I open ICal on the MacBook Air my calendar is missing items?

I have to clean up my calendars in ical.app. At the moment, there are around 10 different calendars mixed from fragments of an Outlook import, mobile phone import, Entourage fragments, new ICal calendars. Can I display all events of a calendar at once in a list, to mark and delete unimportant or double events? Is there a easier way, to edit multiple events from one calendar to another (I have to export a calendar, delete it after export in ical and import it in the calendar, I want it to live in)?

View 1 Replies View RelatedEarlier tonight I opened iCal, only to find that none of my calendars were there. it was completely empty. However, when I changed the view from "Week" to "Month" all of my events were listed (in the proper color) on the appropriate day, but I still had no list of calendars on the left. Subsequent changes between "Day" "Week" and "Month" view continued to display the events properly, but nothing showed up in the calendar menu on the left.
I repaired permissions same thing happened.I trashed com.apple.ical pref (forgot the exact filename)�same behavior. I use .mac to sync between computers, and I use Missing Sync to sync to a Palm T|X.
I've downloaded CalDav. It will export from Google Calendar into Ical, but not the other way.Any tips on how to get information onto Google Calendar from Ical?

Like many of you, I have to use a PC at work. I can access outlook on said PC either through webmail or Remote Desktop Connection but what I would really like is an automated way to sync my oulook calendar with iCal. I thought AddressX would work but it requires ananymous connectons to the exchange server which is apparently a no no from a security perspective. How have you sync'd outlook calendar with iCal?

I have a calendar in iCal labeled "headaches"
I go to print, select list, tell it to start at june 2005 and continue through today. Wwhen I tell it to print, it prints out EVERY SINGLE DAY, not just the days that have headaches.
I set up the syncing through CalDav but in iCal it creates a new calendar (which is the Google Calendar). Would I have to delete my original calendar called "Home" and just make the Google Calendar (in iCal) my main calendar? Does it do a good job of syncing both ways? Also, if I do this, does it also sync through MobileMe?
Where or what is the easiest way to publish your ical calendar to a public area for others to view.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've followed the tutorials online to sync my Google Calendar with my iCal.The problem however, is that, after doing so, only the calendars that are in Google Calendar are synced.What I mean is that lets say I create a calendar called Birthday in iCal. This would not appear in my Google Calendar! To fix this, I actually have to create the calendar in Google, then sync it!
Everytime I upload that ical backup file... nothing happens in google calendar. It does nothing in Firefox... and safari I just get 0 was transferred. I just want to bring over my calendar to google. Does anyone know what is going on? Anything I am missing?
I dont know whether I am being stupid or whether it is simply not possible, but I am havign issues syncing new calendars to mobileme.
On iCal I have two headings, 'On my Mac', and 'MobileMe'. Any calendar that is created under 'On my Mac', will not sync with mobileme, and is not in the cloud. I find this odd and I can't seem to figure out the problem. Any idea why this might be?

At work , we are looking for a solution to share a single iCal calendar with everyone in the office but 2 people need to be able to edit the calendar. I know how to publish and subscribe but to everyone but the creator the calendar is read only. I have seen BusySync but I'm looking for a free solution. My boss does have a MobileMe account. Is there any way to make this happen?

To collaborate better, I have setup an office calendar in Outlook, which I have shared with the rest of the office. Everyone using Outlook has added the calendar and is now using it.
The Entourage users in the office are not so please with me (I implemented the Exchange system so everyone is mad at me because it's not working!).
However, I get stuck at step #3 - we don't have an 'advanced' button in the bottom left hand corner of the window. So now I am stuck!
After hours of research, I'm finally making a thread about this. It's very simpleI know you can sync Google Calendars(GC) with iCal, so anything you change on your GC will sync to iCal, but I need a way to do the opposite. iCal››Google Calendar.
I know there is a $60 service that does this, but there must be a free way! I've had no luck searching Google for answers... Why I want to sync with GC is because I want my family to be able to see my calendars, but I don't like using GC, I much rather enjoy using iCal. I use ACDSee Photo Manager on my Windows 7 machine which I really like because of its calendar view function. I'm able to choose a specific day, or month and all my pictures for the requested date pop up. I'm wondering if there is anything like that in iPhoto, Aperture or another MAC based photo application out there.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo, i have been using entourage for a couple of years and had no problems. I now want to sync my mail and calendars with my new phone (Nokia N97 mini). To do this I believe I have to use Isync, so I have set the sync services preferences in entourage to 'sync events and tasks with ical and .Mac'.
I have a few queries:
1. when I do this my calendar in ical does not represent my calendar in entourage - there are additional events in the ical calendar (it doesnt recognise that these have been deleted from entourage). Ical is also set to sync with mobile me and that has the same additional events as ical.
2. in ical it says I have 2 calendars 'entourage' and 'entourage 2' however 'entourage' doesnt have any events on it. So I deleted it but it just keeps coming back
Ical Time Settings. I want to print a weekly view BUT with the times of the daily meetings adjacent to the actual event....NOT all the way on the left hand side of the view.
Is there a way to have the meeting times next to the event? It is awkward to try and see 15 minute increments, etc.
Is it me or did you never see a "dot" in the mini month view within Ical when you had an event on a day? I have it on the iphone on month view but I could have sword that I had this on my Mac?

I know it shows up in the weekly view, but it would be more helpful for me to have it up show up like this so I can get an overview of the month's forthcoming events. Or if it, are there any mods/addons etc that can enable this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've made a calendar in iCal organizing the shift roster for 4 people at my work. Its a security job, so there are 'Day' shifts and 'Night' shifts. Starting at 5.00AM and 5.00PM respectively and running for 12 hours.
The problem I am running into occurs when I go to print. Instead of having the nice layout that it does in the actual editable calendar where it just says Day and Night (image 1), it is adding the times of the shifts (image 2).
What I am trying to be able to do is simply print out the calendar as it appears in the program in the first place. Anyone know how to do this?
When ever I go to make a new 'calendar' in iCal (4.0.1) it wont let me change the name from 'Untitled' to anything else.
