I'm trying to order a calendar in iPhoto '11 for my grandmother. I've did this as part of her Christmas gift the last three years. I added everyone in my family's birthday into an iCal calendar years ago.

I set a date in my iphone and it goes off correctly. however when i sync my iphone to my macbook all of the times are set two hours late in Ical.
I USED to live in las vegas which is two hours earlier than houston where i currently live however my macbook is currently set for central time so i have no clue how to trouble shoot this.
just for example, if i set a reminder at 1pm to wash clothes, it goes off correctly on my iphone, but it will set and go off in Ical at 3pm.
How can the b'dates and anniversaries be added to ical automatically? It can update on start.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to import some iCal calendars into Google recently, and I keep getting notices that "Calendar is not available. Please try again in a few minutes." The problem is that I've been trying to do this for the past three nights off and on for a few hours while working on other things.
I've done everything right from the iCal end (File-->Export), so I can't figure out what the problem might be.If anyone could try the same thing or let me know what the issue might be, I would really appreciate it.
I have this nagging problem for a while, all the "date modified" in most of my folders (application, documents,utility, libraries, download, etc.) are wrong. They all show up with january dates, some this year, some previous years. Recent modifications are noted as "today" and "yesterday", beyond that I get january dates. My date and hour preferences are set ok. Repaired permissions quite a few times, nothing changed. Waited for few system updates (10.7.3 - 10.7.2 - 10.7.1) hoping it would correct itself, but no.

Day X: Mail 1 arrives in my Apple Mail Inbox, Shows the date as Day X.
Day Y: Mai 2 arrives in my Apple Mail Inbox. Shows the date as Day Y.
Day Z: The date shown for May 1 is Day Z. The date for Mail 2 shows as Day Z.Â
This does not always happen, but seemingly is happening more and more.Â
I have tried quitting and restarting the program. Rebooting Mavericks (Late 2008 MacBook Air). I upgraded to Mavericks when it first came out and didn't see this problem right away.Â
I have also quit Mail, changed the time zone in System Preferences, Quit and reopened System Preferences. and changed it back to the correct time zone.Â

am having trouble trying to get my iCal to sync with my Google calendar. I want it so when i make changes to either ical or google calendar it automatically updates the other one. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?
i had looked at the option to publish my iCal calendar but when i click on calendar in iCal to choose "send publish email" it is greyed out.
For some reason probably the result of mistakes in synching, I have multiple entries of dates mostly birthdays showing in my iPad and MacMini. I can delete then one at a time,but with 156 repeats in one case, it becomes tedious. Where can I find the fields to delete the extra dates?

Like many of you, I have to use a PC at work. I can access outlook on said PC either through webmail or Remote Desktop Connection but what I would really like is an automated way to sync my oulook calendar with iCal. I thought AddressX would work but it requires ananymous connectons to the exchange server which is apparently a no no from a security perspective. How have you sync'd outlook calendar with iCal?

I go to print, select list, tell it to start at june 2005 and continue through today. Wwhen I tell it to print, it prints out EVERY SINGLE DAY, not just the days that have headaches.
I am trying to duplicate calendar items while preserving their calendar settings + color, and mass move multiple events to another week without manually selecting everything by hand and manually resetting the calendar settings. How can I duplicate and move without doing everything manually?

Would I have to delete my original calendar called "Home" and just make the Google Calendar (in iCal) my main calendar? Does it do a good job of syncing both ways? Also, if I do this, does it also sync through MobileMe?

This would not appear in my Google Calendar! To fix this, I actually have to create the calendar in Google, then sync it!
I recently got a MacBook Pro after having an iPhone and iPad since last year. I have iCloud set up on all devices to share calendar dates. However, when I input an event on iCal on the MacBook everything is fine and the event shows up on my iPhone and iPad calendars, but when I input an appointment on my iPhone, it will not update to the iCal on MacBook.Â

I dont know whether I am being stupid or whether it is simply not possible, but I am havign issues syncing new calendars to mobileme.
On iCal I have two headings, 'On my Mac', and 'MobileMe'. Any calendar that is created under 'On my Mac', will not sync with mobileme, and is not in the cloud. I find this odd and I can't seem to figure out the problem. Any idea why this might be?

At work , we are looking for a solution to share a single iCal calendar with everyone in the office but 2 people need to be able to edit the calendar. I know how to publish and subscribe but to everyone but the creator the calendar is read only. I have seen BusySync but I'm looking for a free solution. My boss does have a MobileMe account. Is there any way to make this happen?

But I seem only able to sync one way - if I add an appointment in Google Calendar - then sync - it shows up fine in iCal. But if I add an event in iCal and then sync - it doesn't show up on the Google Calandar.
After hours of research, I'm finally making a thread about this. It's very simpleI know you can sync Google Calendars(GC) with iCal, so anything you change on your GC will sync to iCal, but I need a way to do the opposite. iCal››Google Calendar.
I know there is a $60 service that does this, but there must be a free way! I've had no luck searching Google for answers... Why I want to sync with GC is because I want my family to be able to see my calendars, but I don't like using GC, I much rather enjoy using iCal. From what I have read else where, it is possible for them to publish their events publicly, so that they are searchable and anyone can add them to their own Google calendar.
Would it then be possible for me to view their public Google calendar in iCal? If not, could I achieve the same out come by setting up my own intermediate Google Calendar, which took the clubs feed, and then use iCal to view that? I don't wish to share information back, just add their info to my own calendar automatically. So that if an event is added/deleted or changed, my calendar is automatically updated when I view it.
