Is there a function in iphoto to delete photos already on a camera? I know it asks if you would like to delete after import but what if you decline and later change your mind? My camera, that I know of, can only erase one by one If iphoto can mass delete, that would be great
View 2 RepliesI have recently imported some photos from my camera, some in portrait some in landscape. When I preview the photos, the portraits automatically rotate in order to be on the upside. But when I use it as wallpaper, it doesn't rotate. Is there anyway to make all the portraits rotate for wallpaper?

Just says error downloading image.If I go into bootcamp it imports fine on windows.How can i fix this? I am not able to get 20 pictures off my digital Kodak EasyShare DX4530 to my computer using a USB cable and ImageCapture or iPhoto. The photos appear (I can see all the photos and files) but I am unable to transfer them or even open them and get information off. I think that this is because the pictures are saved on the Kodak camera's internal memory. What can I do to get around this problem?

On iTunes, some of my podcasts are deleted after I listen to them, even though I have the settings set to avoid that? (Or rather, I did have it set to avoid that when my podcasts were set to subscribe. Now iTunes won't even let me subscribe to them, so I can't access the settings?)

After installing Snow Leopard on both of my computers, I have found that while the computers recognize my digital camera it will not allow me to import photos into i-photo and eventually you have to just force quit i-photo to get out of it.

Like all other Macbook Air users I covet space so when I see 4.5GB is used by photos (About My Mac) and I don't knowingly have any photos stored. iphoto is empty. Photostream has been stopped. My e-mail is via Gmail therefore anything stored is on the web. I can't beleive Mac's screensavers account for 4.5GB. So, how do I recover this space.

Okay, I was working with iMovie and did something cool...but I don't know how I did it or how to repeat what I did.
I managed to make one "clip" which consists of 6 or 7 photos (imported from iPhoto)...and on top of (inside of?) that clip is the "far far away" title (the Star Wars one). I tried to do the same thing again, and couldn't figure out how I did it in the first place! Oops. Any clues would be great (I tried highlighting several pics and dragging them down to the timeline together...didn't work. I also tried a few other things, but no luck).
I recently imported all of my unorganized picture folder mess into iPhoto in an effort to organize them. However, when importing my pictures from my camera in the past, I would upload the same picture multiple times. I didnt bother to fix it at the time, but now that its all there in iPhoto, its pretty annoying, especially with the couple thousand pictures i have on it. Is there a way (automater?) that I can find these duplicate files and delete the copies of them? A program to do this or something would be a godsend.

This not only found them, it found literally thousands more, many of them duplicates. Does anyone know if there is an easy way to restore the missing Photos. My idea is to import the lot, and then hopefully try and remove all duplicates like itunes does.
