Whenever I download files from rapidshare, I have to wait 60 min. before each download
Is there any way I can bypass it in safari
I tried google, but most of the articles are for windows
I ran a search, couldn't find anything on this. I was wondering if there were any applications that allows you to put files in queue, like speed download does to download, but to upload files to a rapidshare account? I do have speed download 4 also. is there a way to use that to upload?

One of such programmes is a tiny one called RapidUploader (an official upload manager for [URL]). At this time I am using RSUploaderX for Mac OS as an alternative, but unfortunately it is veru unstable and stops with uploading from time to time. Could you tell me what application you use for uploading files to [URL]? Is there a good programme as the official RapidUploader for Windows?

We're running Lion Server 10.7.3 and latest Admin Tools.
I was just on my computer tonight nd all of a sudden it restarted, upon rebooting it went to a safari-only mode with a webpage asking me to log into a wifi account and telling me to access Apple support.
- I cannot boot into safe mode, and any other mode I use just brings me to this same screen.
- Everytime I restart the computer it just brings me back to this screen and I can't log into my normal account.
- I also cannot access system preferences.
- If I close safari I just get a blank screen with nothing.
- Other solutions have suggested this is a 'theft' location procedure, if so, how do I 'deactivate' this? I have accessed my iCloud 'find my iphone' and there seems to be no way of disabling it.

At the moment i'm sharing a house while waiting for some prety serious repair work to be done on mine. therefor im sharing an ADSL line, but its only 568Kbps (ish) and i dont want to use more than my fair share of the somewhat limited bandwidth. Dose anyone know of an app that i can use on my iMac to set a maximum upload and download speed for my connection.
ADSL line -to- BT Voyager Wifi router -to- 1x LAN XP pc and 1x Wifi Vista PC and 1x imac in sig

If the picture goes over the sites limit I get this message:Slow scriptSafari is no longer responding because of a script on the webpage "Topic - Website" (Page). Do you want to stop running the script, or let it continue?If I hit the Stop Load Button in time I won?t be kicked out of the forum and have to logon again. When the Slow Script message shows up I hit the Yes, Stop Running Button. There are now literally hundreds of tiny and flat messages showing the dimensions of the picture that was posted and is now junk. Somewhere at the bottom of all those useless sheets are the pictures in their original size. If I?m lucky and fast enough on the draw I haven?t been kicked off.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've got a real odd problem with safari 4. For some reason it is cutting my download speeds in about 1/2 from my server and many other places.
If I restart safari I will be able to download close to my 18 Mbps for a little bit but then it will just start to slow down and after about 30 minutes it will be down to about 6 - 8 Mbps.
I miss the beta, with the tabs on top. where can i download the beta again?

In any case, about twice when I was browsing from the proxy site, a file named "About-Blank" (not exe, don't know what they where) was downloaded to my "Downloads" folder. I deleted the files and that was that, I was just wondering how is it that safari downloaded a file without prompting me? and could there be any repercussions for my system?

I live and work in Mainland China. There are a lot of sites I'd like to visit that I'm unable to do so because they're blocked. I'm a bit paranoid about internet security, especially here. I always connect behind a strict firewall on my wifi router (D-Link DIR-655) with SPI and NAT in addition I have the firewall on Snow Leopard set the strictest---to block all incoming connections. What I'm concerned about, is the VPN software of Witopia bypassing that firewall in my router. Will this happen? Does anyone know about the fine details of Witopia's VPN software and what it's doing, how it's connecting, etc?

[Look at attachment one]. When i looked at my tab section in preferences on Safari 4 it didn't have it [Look at attachment two]. i want to be able to click one the "Always show tab bar" and deactivate that. View 3 Replies View RelatedUp 'till now I've been using Saft to add some functionality for Safari. I used it for two reasons: to open new pages in tabs rather than windows, and to autoclose the downloads window after the downloads have finished. Now, the first reason no longer exists as Safari 5 has this functionality built in. Unfortunately, retaining Saft dramatically messes up the tab functionality, so I don't use it anymore. I still hate it that Safari keeps the download will open indefinitely, though. I know SafariStand provides the option to have the download window close, but SafariStand is much much more than I need.
Now, I know Safari 5 has a new extension functionality, but I'm no programmer myself. My question is whether anybody knows about a small extension that adds the possibility to have the download window close automatically after the downloads close, and not much more?

Up until today, I downloaded a few and they are windows files because they have the parallels symbol (Yes I have parallels) but my parallels isn't running. So I went back and tried to download old files that I had previously been opened with Mac OSX and they too are opening as parallel files. I don't understand why all the files want me to download the windows version. The only thing that I changed was I finally upgraded my MacPar Deluxe because there was a new version but that's the only thing. I don't want to download windows files while on my mac.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've used Handbrake to encode several movies. Because I wanted them as "lossless" as possible they were encoded used H.264 (and are m4v files) and are in the 7-8GB range.
I'm not actually importing the movies but just pointing iTunes to the drive they sit on. For some reason it won't add them to the iTunes library. What gives? Is there a file size limit?
Is there a size limit for importing an Excel File into Numbers? The error message says the file is too large. Has this been changed in i-work 09? The file has multiple sheets that refer to each other, but i can't even open at this point. It is 3.1 MB.
