I have a Keynote '08 slide show that I need to add multiple tracks of music to. The music needs to be timed for segments in the presentation. What is the best way to do this if at all?
View 8 RepliesI have made a slideshow before and added music to it but now it will not let me. I have to music in a folder in itunes but I can not select it. Then when I play back the Slideshow it says "Slideshow Music. the music you selected cant be found or cant be opened.".strange it worked before..its an mp3.anyone know?

I spoke with Apple support and was informed this feature was not available and to submit a feedback form. I have done as asked by Apple support. The current work around is to export the presentation to Apple Quicktime. Does anyone know a better work around to display my presentation in a window instead of full screen?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've run into an odd problem where iTunes (v8.0.2.20 Windows Vista) will not add, play or do anything with audio files (mp3) that it has previously played in the past (same version of iTunes). It played it one day, then the album disappeared and will not allow it to be added again, it does how ever work perfectly in Quicktime player, Winamp, WMP and other players. When I use Add Folder to Library, I get a quick "Processing files" dialogue, then it disappears (Same if I drag the folder into the library itself), and when I try to play the files individually, nothing happens at all. I've tried everything short of reencoding the files, which I want to save as a last resort (So as to not lose audio quality) and Ripping the CD again isn't an option since I no longer have the original after my car was broken into.

In my iTunes folder there's a path ~/iTunes/iTunes Music/Podcasts/Sundays Supplement
Containing all the subscribed shows.
So, I d/led all the .mp3s to this folder. No joy. Restart iTunes. No joy.
I was under the impression that you could just put new songs right into this folder and they would show up in iTunes. I added a bunch of music files (correct format of course) to this folder and they don't show up. I still have to use "Add to library" and browse to the actual folder and song for it to show up. What gives?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have two questions/issues with iDVD. I'm a bit of a beginner when it comes to iDVD but I have checked all over the internet for the answers.
First I am using the soft frame theme and I am using all three drop zones with video filling them. When I play back the dvd in the dvd preview the video plays very choppy. It is almost frame by frame. The effects of the menu are also slow (in fact the whole preview of the dvd seems to be slow).
My second problem is that when adding background music the dvd takes the whole length of the song to loop, and in the short time is takes someone to choose a button the first drop zone is still looping.
I wish to make a slideshow and add audio to the show. Any suggestions for the best program to accomplish this?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI created a slideshow in Keynote and imported it to IDVD to burn it. I want a 3 second transition on each slide. My show is 83 slides, so run time is approx 4 minutes. I set slideshow to run in a loop.Here's my problem: I want to have 9 songs (approx 36 minutes run time) on my slideshow. After the show runs once and starts to loop, I'd like it to continue with the next songs not start the audio back at the first song.

However, whenever I try to do so, the program insists on lingering on the first slide for a full thirty seconds before going on to the next slide. This shouldn't be necessary to make the music fit - all subsequent slides are at just over 5 seconds, and if all slides were just slightly longer than that, it would easily fit. Even if I delete the last slide, it simply makes the subsequent slide lasts 30 seconds.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had a iMac 24" be for they broke in my HOUSE! So i was thinking that this would be a upgrade. I've burned over 12 disc now and none of them will play. So this iMac 27" OS X 10.9.4 has wasted my TIME & MONEY. I'm just trying to make a slideshow from iPhoto export with music to a DVD, and when i put in my player all i get is UNKNOWN DISC. Keep me in mind, i may be selling THIS ONE.

The selection of music from iTunes Music Library, is not working in iPhoto Slideshow, in my Mac Book Air. However, it works nicely in my main IMac.
The Slideshow at the Mac Book Air works only with the pre existent sources "Sample Music" and "Theme Music". The remaining library is visible on the sourcing list, but when I select any musics, they do not pop up in the window below.
