Aperture :: Slideshow Preset Not Display List Of ITunes Songs For Music
Dec 11, 2014
Macbook pro with OS X Yosemite Version 10.10
Aperture 3.5.1
slideshow preset does not display list of itunes songs for music to accompany slide show (it did use to do this perfectly satisfactorily). Clicking to open itunes does not work.
The selection of music from iTunes Music Library, is not working in iPhoto Slideshow, in my Mac Book Air. However, it works nicely in my main IMac.
The Slideshow at the Mac Book Air works only with the pre existent sources "Sample Music" and "Theme Music". The remaining library is visible on the sourcing list, but when I select any musics, they do not pop up in the window below.
I am trying to compile a list of songs for a reunion with some old songs that genius cannot find. Is there a way I can write my own titles on the playlist ?
I have tried dragging onto DJ list and Genius. I don't seem able to drag and drop them.
Basically I want to take a dump of my iTunes Music Library, and create a website out of it, so I can keep track of what music I have when I'm not on the laptop that has iTunes on it. I've tried Delicious Library 2, but I don't like how it creates the website, I want to be able to have it broken down by Artist, and Album, the above mentioned breaks it down by Artist, and all artist albums. More or less I want to click on a Artist, and it show me the albums I have for it. I don't need song titles at all.
I'm using Aperture 3.6 to create and then export a slideshow to 1080p. When playing back the exported .MOV file, some pictures have randomly disappeared leaving a black background and I've exported to a reduced 720p with random pictures still missing. If the slideshow is previewed in Aperture, all the pictures are OK and none are missing and I get the same export problems using iPhoto to export the slideshows.

Bought music on itunes and now the songs will not play all the way through. What do I do ?I've tried playing the song on the computer and it does the same thing.
For the past few days, my i-mac (10.4.11) has been playing music randomly. I'm not sure what the cause is, but I assumed it could be limewire, so I deleted it. I'm currently using Macscan to look for spyware, but no spyware files have been detected. I know what program it plays through-- Safari. and as far as I can tell it always plays my ITunes songs.
I have a good number of songs (and will continue to have) that I love, but they have just 1 or 2 swear words. That just ruins the whole song for me. I would really like to know (as well as friends who have asked me) where or IF I can get a music editing application for my mac so that I can edit iTunes songs. I just simply want to make it so that there is the classic *beep* sound instead of the swear word, or even just mute the vocal while the sole beat of the music is still going on (like how the radio stations do it).
I bought a new Mac pro tower. I transferred music from my old Mac pro to the new via an external hard drive. Now the songs stop playing before the end.
I add an album to iTunes, all the songs are on recently added playlist but they don't appear on MUSIC, by artist or anything...It is really wierd and anoying, they do appear on my iPod Classic by artist or anything is just on iTunes they seem nowhere to be found!
Created a slide show, Then a request for Black and white, No problem. Now I need to take the slide show back to colour, And the only way i can find is to go back to original un doing all the work I done in raw format. I saved everything in k peg. But the works had gone in the raw files, We need a way to step back after the presses on raw. From black and white back to colour, without having to revert to originals.
Is there a way to add multiple songs to an iPhoto slideshow? I know there is a way to make the slides fit ONE song, but its kind of lame that you can add more than one song. Also, is there a viable way to change the duration of each slide?
In regards to creating a slideshow using iPhoto, is it possible to integrate multiple songs from iTunes into a slideshow using iPhoto '08? What about the newest version of the application, iPhoto '09?
I am trying to make a slideshow for my dad's 60th birthday. I have the pictures loaded and in order and I have a play list from my itunes that I am using. I want to shorten the lengths of the songs though. I don't want the whole slide show to be to just one or two songs. Is there a way to play songs for a certain amount of slides or to make a song play for 1 minute instead of say 4 minutes?
I was under the impression that you could just put new songs right into this folder and they would show up in iTunes. I added a bunch of music files (correct format of course) to this folder and they don't show up. I still have to use "Add to library" and browse to the actual folder and song for it to show up. What gives?
My itunes library is empty on my new computer, but I have a full library on my ipod. How do I "reverse" sync? I don't see an option in itunes to put all the info from my ipod onto my computer. I see it the other way, which would then erase all the data on my ipod.
iMac running OSX 10.9.4 on a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 27" with 16G RAM and 1TB HD. I have gone though the list of controls on the slideshow menu to no avail. I have pictures of our vacation to New York that are light hearted, but I also have pictures of the Ground Zero and 911 Commemorative Museums that I would like to change the theme music to a Mozart dirge and then back to other songs that better represent what the pictures are about.

My iTunes DJ will not display under 20 Upcoming Songs. I want it to be zero, but when I choose this option it sticks to 20 Upcomming Songs still. Tried the other values smaller than 20, as well. However, oddly, it will allow switching to numbers higher than this (i.e. it WILL display 50, 100, etc. Upcoming Songs).
The music library on my desktop itunes program has all my songs. But I just want some of those songs -- which are contained in a itunes playlist I created -- to be loaded onto my iphone. How can I load only a particular set of songs, or a playlist of songs, onto my phone and not my entire music library?
I'm a pro musician with a large archive of personal music, nearly 60Gb, and didn't expect iCloud to try to upload the whole lot! So iTunes keeps crashing when trying to "Match". I just want a single Playlist with a few selected items to be available to Apple TV so how do I change things? As a result of trying to find a way into iCloud to amend things I started a process that threatened to erase all my Address Book and Calendar data and couldn't easily stop it - kept going round in circles! Lost all Calendar data on my computer so had to restore from Time Machine - how do I cancel that part of iCloud?
I created a slideshow in Keynote and imported it to IDVD to burn it. I want a 3 second transition on each slide. My show is 83 slides, so run time is approx 4 minutes. I set slideshow to run in a loop. Here's my problem: I want to have 9 songs (approx 36 minutes run time) on my slideshow. After the show runs once and starts to loop, I'd like it to continue with the next songs not start the audio back at the first song.
So, I've created a slideshow, and want to fit music to it. However, whenever I try to do so, the program insists on lingering on the first slide for a full thirty seconds before going on to the next slide. This shouldn't be necessary to make the music fit - all subsequent slides are at just over 5 seconds, and if all slides were just slightly longer than that, it would easily fit. Even if I delete the last slide, it simply makes the subsequent slide lasts 30 seconds.
I am having trouble adding my iTunes playlist to my slideshow...working in iPhoto 08 and have followed directions per manual. Either it plays one song from the playlist I created or it plays nothing.
