Jun 18, 2012i recently purchased a gift card for the mac app store for $300 to buy Final Cut Pro X. I submitted the card's code, and my computer accepted it, however, when i went to buy the app, it sent me to my billing information. After confirming everything, I clicked "done" and it sent me back to the home screen with a loading wheel and it hasn't stopped since.

The system askes for my user name & password, I enter it, and it just asks for the same info... over and over again. Subsequent to that I created a new company, with its own credit card, and created a new Apple ID specifically for purchases for that company. Now when I go to make a purchase on the app store with my iPhone how do I switch between the two Apple IDs so that the purchase I make uses the appropriate credit card?

Jan 20, 2010I recently got my computer fixed and ended up getting a new one. it is a mac book laptop. I changed the password before it got sent and i completely forgot it. They backed my new laptop up with my old hard drive so now i got my old stuff on the new one. I want to download this application so i can fix this .zip file but i need the admin password. I've tried using the install discs but they tell me to enter the admin. I've tried putting the install disc in and pushing c on start up but it just freezes on the white screen with the apple. Is there something wrong with my computer? should i contact the insurance company who i dealt with?

May 17, 2012I have some apps that I bought sometimes ago when I'm still living in newzealand. Now I moved to other country permernantly. Therefore, I have to change newzealand mac app store to us mac app store(Apple forces me, because my new credit card is us base).
Problem is, I have to switch back to newzealand store everytime I needed to install something, then switch back to US store to install some other thing. that's annoying.
Now, I can rebuy the apps that I've already have for my US store, but that's hideus, why should I pay twice for the same thing ? Is that the best if Apple let me transfer the apps ? what big deal about it ? beside's the country flag the apps are rather look and cost the same, why don't let me do it?

May 6, 2010For work, I got a new MBP 15" a month ago and we have the computer set to require password to wake computer/screensaver. When I type in my password, it sometimes takes up to a minute for it to authenticate the password. Other times it takes a second like normal. I check the error logs and nothing is coming up during those times.

Sep 26, 2009I finally decided to do all the back up and such to update the system. It was one of those if it ain't broken don't fix it type situations. I just installed Leopard to my old 14" Mac G4 laptop. Everything was going fine until the first screen dialog box asked for my password. I tried the usual suspects.. even my hint was "the usual one" and I cannot get the computer to accept it or anything else. I am in a loop and cannot get any further. The dialogue box gives you log in, restart and shut down. Is there a work around? How do I get out of this mess? I am in deep poop as I need to access my computer. What can I do... I'm logging on to someone else's computer until I can get back into mine.
