Dec 28, 2009So today I decided to send one of my friends a very special christmas present - episodes of SNL. I decided to first send her the Just Commercials episode, because I know its one of her favorite parts of the sketch show. The show is $1.99, and I filled out the "Gift" form. However, when I clicked "Done", the iTunes page said that it had billed my CREDIT CARD. I have $24.95 in store credit, from various gift cards for iTunes. Why did this happen, and how can I fix this? I really really really can NOT have this bill be on my credit card.

Apr 29, 2012I just purchased a new phone with a SD card (4GB) and copied some MP3 songs to it. The problem is that, after copying, the MP3s are in place but so are 4K files of the same name as the "real" MP3 files. I have to go into the phone and manually delete these small files.Â

May 1, 20121. When I drag a group of songs from a playlist to a memory card iTunes adds a series of numbers to the beginning of each song title. (For example Misty becomes 09-2 Misty. Several songs may be assigned the same number. This makes it impossible to sort these songs alphabetically on the memory card. I can remove the number manually either by renaming each song in the list or by using the Get Info command. Either way each song must be renamed individually. How can I drag songs without iTunes adding a number?

Jun 20, 2012Currently, I have my iTunes library on an external hard drive hooked up to my old MacBook which I'm trying to set up as a media server for the house (using Home Sharing). Â
In the meantime, I have no iTunes on my MacBook Air. Dragging out the external drive every time I want my own tunes is annoying. I don't have the flashdrive space to have my music locally.Â
However, I love the flash drive reader on my Macbook Air. Could I put a copy of my iTunes library on the flash drive, and just pop it in when I want to access iTunes?Â

Dec 9, 2010I've recently bought a Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 and am really enjoying it. When I'm not using it for recording, I keep it connected to my speakers as it gives a better output than that of the 3.5mm headphone jack (for an aux in to my speakers). I was just wondering if there was any way that I could get only iTunes out of the external sound card so that all my sounds from other apps like Mail and Safari etc. Would come through my Macbook Pro's speakers? I just don't like it when I get the big air rush sound coming through my speakers when an email is sent using Mail, and then other little bleeps from everything else are quite annoying too. I have attached an image of how my sound is currently configured using the Audio MIDI setup.

Aug 2, 2008I have an iTunes credit as I received a gift card from someone. I went onto iTunes and bought a game for my iPhone and it billed my credit card instead. The price of the game was well within my credit amount. Am I only allowed to purchase music etc? Is there a limitation on what can be purchased because I was never prompted to select to use my credit or bill to my credit card.

I fill out all of the billing address, and don't have an iTunes gift card, so I leave that out. What is left? A Credit Card field! I am only 14 years old! I don't have a Credit Card! Is there any way to get past this? I have noticed that the same thing happens in the Mac App Store. All I want to do is get the Album Artwork and get a few free apps for my iPod Touch as well as my MacBook.

Jun 4, 2014I have converted my iTunes playlist to MP3s.I copied my playlist / songs onto my SD Card.When I put the card into my car stereo I get a 'bonus' track after every sond, which is indicated by an error code by my car stereo.
Results, I play track #1 and the song plays fine, then goes to track #2 and the error is displayed, next it progresses to track #3 and plays the next song. I have over 500 songs on my SD Card and fast forwarding on the radio can be a bother. when I copy my songs onto the SD Card so I will not have these 'bonus' tracks?
