Sync To Keep Some Music Tracks On IPhone / Use ITunes Match To Stream Rest?

Mar 12, 2012

I had selected a whole bunch of music from my iTunes to sync onto my iPhone using my USB cable. Now I've signed up for iTunes Match and none of that music is on my iPhone anymore except by streaming. How do I get those tunes and podcasts back on my iPhone so I can listen to them when streaming is not available (like downstairs in my gym where there's no signal) WHILE ALSO being able to access the other non-sync'd tunes if I want whenever I've got a good signal. I spent some time choosing which tunes to keep on my iPhone and which not to sync.

ITunes :: Music Not Syncing To My IPad 2

Jun 10, 2012

I have been encountering a current issue that I find to be alarming, and want to know if anyone else knows how to remedy the issue. I have OS X Lion and all my software is up to date; I have an iPad 2 and it is also up to date. There has been an issue when I try to sync my music from iTunes to my iPad. It gets to the final stage of syncing, and then the music starts to download, and then it will only download a couple songs onto the iPad and then the computer will freeze. It forces me to completely shut down my computer, and it is really concerning me now. The whole computer is moving completely slow, almost to the point where a simple click on an application causes the rainbow spinning wheel.

ITunes :: New IPad Sync Sequence Now No Music

Jun 24, 2012

A good friend of mine had over 1500 songs ripped from CD on my MacBook. In a hurry before a trip she purchased a new iPhone and new iPad and in the syncing to get Address book and calendar and photos synced up a big change happened on the laptop. All the music appears to be gone.Exclamation points in iTunes and practically nothing in the iTunes Music folder. The macbook is running 10.5.8.I have tried search on the laptop... I cannot see the files. I have tried mounting the macbook as target disk and using Data Recue 3 in demo mode to see if I can "see" the files they do not show up. Somehow iTunes knew they were there before so it lists the songs with the exclamation point and given the huge unused space on the macbook disk it sure seems like the files should be there.

Unfortunately, my friend only has her original CDs as backup. How can I recover the files which were on that disk?  The iPad and iPhone are on the road and we think the music got removed from them as well.

ITunes :: Copy Music Which Imported From Macbook To Ipad?

May 19, 2012

I have one, perhaps two or more problems here.  I need more info to even know, but I have a few hundred songs  imported from my CD collection into my macbook pro itunes application.

I now also have an ipad-1 which I inherited from my wife.  It makes me wait 90 days to sync from the cloud my "purchased" music, but, putting that aside, what about my songs I purchased outside of itunes and imported into itunes?  I don't seem to be able to copy and paste them into my ipad when it is connected to my macbook.

ITunes For Mac :: Sync Music From IPad Mini To New MacBook Pro?

Aug 29, 2014

So I already had an iPad mini which was synced to an iTunes account on a Dell laptop running Windows. However, the laptop which it was synced to broke down and I am unable to switch it on so I decided to purchase a 2014 MacBook Pro Retina, which I received a couple of days ago.

I set up the laptop and I created an iTunes account with the same Apple ID as my iPad.

I then purchased a couple of songs on that iTunes account. I then tried to sync the music from my iPad to my new library and visa-versa, but I got the message warning me that it would erase all of the songs on my iPad.

How would I be able to transfer the purchases from my iPad to the library without losing anything?

ITunes :: IPad Is Syncing Music Even Though The Option To Sync Is Disabled

Mar 24, 2012

I'm using iTunes 10.5.3 (3) on Mac OS X 10.7.3 When I drag and drop music from my iTunes library onto the iPad the iPad will first start to 'sync' but I'll notice that it immediately starts to try and sync up all of my music (I have more music than I have space on my iPad so that would just fail eventually but it starts the slow wi-fi sync of all my music). I check the settings for the iPad (via iTunes) and I notice that the Music tab's "sync" option has suddenly been enabled again (when I've previously turned it off).

This is very strange and annoying as all I want to do is copy music from iTunes onto my iPad. I can do this no problem with my iPhone (has the same sync settings turned off and that doesn't re-enable the sync setting when I drag and drop music from iTunes to it? The only difference from my iPad is that i have the apps tab 'sync' option turned on - see P.s below for more on that)

if I turn off syncing of apps for my iPad I get a message that tells me 22 apps will be deleted and that all data will be lost as well. I'm assuming because some apps I've paid for and some are free I'll be able to re-download them no problem, it's just that some apps have extra settings/configurations on them that I'd rather not lose and I just don't see how turning off the 'sync' option would affect them? Just leave them on the iPad device and stop trying to sync them with iTunes??

ITunes :: Best Way To use Match Service

Feb 10, 2012

Everywhere I look I find comples answers about the best way to use the Match service, etc.I am starting simple.if possible I do NOT want to get ICloud. I just want my music world to work about as well as it has until now:

1) I have my CDs on my IMac.

2) I sync what I need to my IPad using a cable. (I hear you an do it wirelessly, but I have not seen how to do that.)

We are told we have to hurry as MM will end and then we will not be able to carry over stuff to the Cloud.

1) Will Itunes sync still work as it does if I do not choose to go over to the cloud?

2) Will I still be able to move some or all pictures over to the IPad the same way I do now?

If so, then I don't think I need the Cloud or Match (I am in Japan and not sure we even have the Match program).I do not need my mobile me address.I do not need to have documents duplicated across devices. I just want to go on as I have.I understand you can have stuff in the cloud so you can have access to it all the time. But I don't travel. I just want my muisc selection in the living room and upstairs in my room.Plus I have many GB of musc, so I think I would go righth over the 5GB limit right away.

Info:
iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3), and a 64GB Ipad version 2
