ITunes For Mac :: Reset Purchases And Downloads Warnings
Jun 6, 2014
My son mistakenly done a purchase that didnt go through due to non sufficient amount, how can I cancel this order I dont want to pay for it any more ....
Some previous items I purchased are not listed there for example Season 3 of the Wire. I checked my billing history and confirmed that I purchased it and not rented it. When I try to buy it again I'm informed I've already purchased it and to check my available/pending downloads (its not listed).
I have a mac, and my mom has a PC. I have been on her account since I was pretty young, so It's a shared account. It's under my email and apple ID, but my mom is on the same account, on her own computer. I want to have automatic downloads so I can use it for my iphone and ipad, but I don't want her song to end up going to my devices or laptop when she downloads from her own computer. is there a way to either turn off automatic downloads for just one computer, or get her a new account, but letting her transfer all of her music onto the new one?
Whenever I go to download a program, it asks for a password but I have forgotten the password due to it being changed several times. How do I recover/reset it so I can allow downloads?
I just went through the process of buying an app as a gift to be delivered via email. Typed my personal message to the recipient, confirmed the delivery address. Got the review screen. Then when I clocked to purchase the app, I got a security screen asking me to select 3 security questions and an alternate email address. Got immediate emails from Apple noting the changes to my account. But I never got an email confirming the gift purchase. How do I tell if it went through? The item is not listed in my purchases, but maybe that's by design? Did the security question dialog hijack the purchase process?
(Also checked my credit card website, and it doesn't look like there's a pending charge yet. But I'd hate to purchase this app twice.)
I have a Macbook Pro and a desktop PC with iTunes installed on each with the same account. However, my iTunes purchases are not reflected the same on each computer. For example, my Macbook has two tv seasons of The Wire that does not appear on my PC iTunes. Also, there are a number of apps on my PC that I don't have on my Mac notebook. This is especially annoying as I sync my iPhone 4 most frequently with my desktop.
I've Googled for apps to do this but all of the ones I've found are out of date. I realize there isn't much of a need for this anymore but I've just discovered about 20 tracks in my library are still protected. This means I can't use them in iMovie for the iPhone. Only about half of them are listed in iTunes as having iTunes Plus upgrades so I'm trying to figure out what to do with the rest.
I get this error message when I try to check for purchases: "Unable to check for available downloads. The iTunes store is temporarily unavailable. please try again later." This has been going on for months. Upgrading to snow leopard didnt change it. Various iTunes upgrades haven't changed it. What can I do? I'm running iTunes 9.0.2, OS X 10.6.2 on a Unibody Macbook.
Our family has 2 i-phones, an i-pad, an i-mac, and 2 touches. We use the same Apple account. We currently have a positve balance on our i-tunes account. Some purchases are deducted from this account while others are put on my credit card.
I recently purchases an IMac and want to transfer my itunes playlists from my macbook to the Imac.I tried sharing but it only lists all my songs. I would like to also have the playlists. How can I to that?
bought a TV show and rented a couple of movies in iTunes to watch during flight on my macbook air like at least 30 times before. However, every time I click on play I get the following "this movie can be played only on displays that support HDCP." i am livid. What is going on? My rental 24 hour limit kicked in without me being able to watch a single microsecond of the movie. This is not the first time that I have difficulties getting something what I paid for in Itunes. This is very delicate for a company that prides itself of being high-quality.
any info concerning refunds on in app purchases made by a child would be appreciated. I am aware that I am responsible for monitoring my child's activity on the device. However Apple needs to be aware that some of these apps are at best underhandedly enticing unknowing kids to innocently buy.
I bought a number of apps via the apple id I made on my college email. I will be losing that email address upon graduation, so I'm getting a new email address, but I can't play the games on my iPod under my new id. Is there a way to transfer my purchases?
I have lost my harddrive which contains a vast amount of music I've been collecting for many years. I just purchased a new Mac, but I've reached my activation limit. And I only have access to 2 of the 5 activated computers. My old music can still be played on my iPod, but I need to set up another account on my new Mac. What will happen to my music if I were to deactivate all of activated computers?
