I have downloaded a song and when I go to play it...it bounces off of the song and will not play. I have iTunes 10.6.1......Apple charged me for the song already. I went to Support but could not find a solution specific to my issue. I have downloaded over 2500 songs and this has not happened before. This song was one of nine other songs I downloaded that evening...all others came through successfully.

I know you can use iTunes dj to "play song next" or whatever but I don't like iTunes DJ for the fact that you don't have 100% control over what songs are playing if you want to pinpoint certain songs, etc..
Is there any way that I can line up a song to play after the current song without interrupting the current song and immediately playing the song I want next?
I cannot play a song on itunes by double clicking the song. I can only play a song by fast forwarding or fast backing from the original song played to the next song I want to play. I can then hit play and the song will play. what is my problem other than general ineptitude?

iTunes 10.6.1 will not play the entire song for a subset of my libraryÂ
I have checked with get info and the stop and start times are correct and the boxes for them are unchecked.Â
Why doesn't itunes play an entire song?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am importing an album into i tunes but each song is going on individually so i can not listen to the whole album at once. could this be down to the fact that each song is a duet with another artist?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've moved my iTunes Library to an external drive, but they are not categorized like before and I'm unable to play the entire library, just by artist only.

How do you get an entire album to paly if the album has multiple singers. On my I tunes it is listed as the artist featuring the different singers. So the album will be split into individual songs and I can not play the whole abum just the indivdual songs. It lists it like this whether i select artist or album. It also does not come up as a compilation because it is the same artist for the whole album.Â

I resently bought a song on itunes and it wont play on my computer, a message pops up and says that i cant play songs on this computer and asks me to authorize the computer, after i type in my info another message pops up and says that the computer is already authorized, i have the most recent version of itunes and the song will still not play.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just bought an album on iTunes (same account I always use, the only one computer I have), and for some reason only ONE of the songs is telling me "This song is not authorized to play on your computer." I tried typing in my info to see if that would work, but it didn't, it said this computer is already authorized (which I already knew, because every other song on my iTunes plays, including all the other songs on this particular album). I followed all the tips on the support website for this particular issue and nothing worked. I also went into my account, deauthorized all the computers (my old computers that I don't have anymore were still on there), then reauthorized this one, and still no luck. How do I get this song to play?

Why does ITunes sometimes not play the full song? Some songs will only play until the last 20-30 seconds but only in Itunes. They play fine and complete in the finder.

I recently purchased an album and one of the songs plays for only 4 seconds before switching to another song. The song is supposed to be much longer. I tried deleting it and redownloading, but the song is available with an "album only" purchase so I cannot redownload. I have restored the song to my library but it still only plays for 4 seconds.

When I go to play a song in iTunes (any song at all, and all the files are definitely there) it just won't play. The play/pause button will change to the pause symbol but nothing else will happen. The ticker-thing at the top which tells you what is playing will say that, that song is on but the timer just stays at 0:00.
Currently running Windows 7 and the latest version of iTunes but this happened before when I was on Vista too. Seems to happen every time I open iTunes now...
I recently purchased an album (Adele 21) on iTunes. When I try to play it back 1 song (#4 Dont You Remember) always ask for my apple id and password in order to "authorize the computer"to play that 1 song.I then enter an endless loop of being asked to authorize, acknowledgement of the authorization while I still caonnot play that song...
View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased an entire album on iTMS, on my Mac(Lion), and all but one track will play on iTunes, and iPhone4(iOS 5.1). I've additionally downloaded the purchased album on another Mac(Snow Leopard), and all tracks play, except the one track in question. When I go to play this song, it prompts me to 'authorize' the track to be played. I put in the correct info, and it does NOT play. This happens on each device. There were no iterruptions in any of the downloads of the tracks.Â
I purchased this music and I want to be able to listen to it! Apple

This has been happening to me for a while now. Sometimes when I drag music files into iTunes, only some of the songs will actually work. The ones that don't will play the first few seconds and then skip to the next song. I know that these files are NOT corrupted because if I keep deleting it from iTunes and reading it, I will eventually get the whole song to play. It's super annoying and I hate having to manually upload every single track multiple times. When I sync my iPhone to my computer, the same songs will only play a few seconds!

Suddenly I'm unable to click on an album and have it play in its entirety; there is a shuffle option but I don't want to shuffle. Why won't it automatically play the next song in order? It seems to play only one song at a time.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI looked in my library and saw that some of the artwork for my songs was gone. I tried to play them, but they wouldn't play. I've looked at other posts and I can't seem to find a way to fix this. All the songs are MP3 and none of them are read only.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased a song from iTunes today and after it downloaded I was unable play it after being told my computer was not authorized to play the song. After going through the steps to "authorize the computer" I was told it is already authorized. Thinking I was then going to be able to play the song, I was once again being told that my computer was not authorized.

I recently moved my itunes library from my IMac to new MacBook Pro. Now when I playback in itunes (v10.6.1) random artists only play back like 5 seconds of a song before going to the next track.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just purchased an album from iTunes. All songs play except 1. When I attempt to play the fourth song, I'm presented a dialog box telling me that I'm not authorized to play the song on the same computer I used to download it. When I enter my Mac ID and Password to authorize the song, I receive another dialog telling me that the song is already authorized to play on this computer. I attempt to play the song, and once again informed that I'm not authorized to play the song, going on to state that I've only authorized two out of the five allowed. Â
I've gone into my Mac account, and only three devices are authorized (Mac, iPhone, iPad). I went ahead an removed authorization on this Mac, then re-added my authorization. Still, the same song out of 20 will not play due to authorization.
I recently bought a song via my iPad and it shows up in my library. But it won't play. It acts like it's downloading (moving bars) but it never finishes. What's wrong and what should I do?
