May 6, 2012I am trying to sync my ipad wifi 32g 3g with itunes but I have itunes 9 instalaled. I am not able to uninstall via the directions as given (remove/add programs, etc)

Apr 7, 2012I'm trying to completely remove itunes from my macbook pro. Before the constant questions about why I want to do this: I just don't want it. I haven't felt a need to use it since I got this macbook in over 3 years, and I don't want it cluttering up my computer asking for autoupdates. I also don't want the auto update program to keep telling me to install itunes every week, because, again, I just don't want it. Â
So, I need a way to uninstall itunes and also stop autoupdate from telling me that I need to download the latest version. I've already deleted every file that has "itunes" in the name, including the receipt and the application itself, but my comp keeps telling me to update it. Â
How do I keep this from happening week after week?

Nov 13, 2010I downloaded it to my Mac (years ago!).. The Cover Flow option refuses to work with me, as rather than showing cover art for each album, it shows it for each song. This causes several duplicates showing up for each album, while browsing on Cover Flow only!I've gone through my Music - iTunes folder multiple times, cleaning through duplicates items and so on. I don't know if iTunes Libraries stored on my Mac is causing this (iTunes Database File).

Everything went smoothly including installing 4x750 Samsung Spinpoint drives from newegg, 4 GB of extra memory from OWC, Raid set up, and so on. For instance, I want to uninstall a program that I installed as I want to reinstall it. In Windows, you've this wonderful control panel that has everything. Mac's Utility folder has some stuff, but not what I am looking for. I love the right-click mouse feature in Windows; can't seem to have that work on my Mac. So, is there any kind of resource available which lists everything that the OS does without any pretty pictures or over-simplifications? The 81-page manual on Apple site didn't do much good to me. And, how do you uninstall a program? Throwing the .app file in the trash didn't help.

Sep 24, 2009I'm so fed up with all the bugs in SL i encounter, i want to go back to 10.5.8, when everything just worked. However, SL messed up the connection with my TM backup disk (cannot access sparsebundle, error 109) where my 10.5.8 OS resides.
So now the only way possible seems to install with my original 10.5 disk.
Can i downgrade by doing an archive and install of an older system (leopard) over a newer system (SL) If it can be avoided i don't want to reinstall all my apps as well??? For example what will happen with all my emails?
