Mar 31, 2012iTunes has one of my old email addresses in my profile. How do I update that to be my current e-mail address?
Fo example my email and apple id are [url].. but my profile has email [url]... in it - an old email I no longer have access to.
Also - i've used 3 different email addresses since I bought my first iPhone. Everytime I update apps on it asks me for a password for one of those 3 email addresses (Apple IDs) - a different one everytime - and it's been so long since I closed those old ones i'm having a hard time remembering the passwords - I guess - because half the time it fails. It would be nice if there was some way to say everything on this phone belongs to the current apple ID.

Jun 6, 2012My dad needed an Apple ID account, so we did the usual (registering and such). There was a confusion with the email address and I by mistake put the wrong email address down. The email account I wrote down is perhaps in use or perhaps not, but most importantly the billing information is on the account. How do I change the address to something else? Will the email be sent to a person who will take advantage of the bank credentials?

Mar 25, 2012change my 'From' email address in Mail.app in Lion. I have my own SMTP credentails to use my own domain email address in gmail. I would love to use this same 'from' address in Mail.app, but I cannot work out how this works. Is this possible? I want to stop having my Gmail address being shown when I use Mail.app.
Ideally, this would also work in the Mail app in iOS.
I know that I cannot use my own domain email in iCloud, so for now I must continue to use Gmail.

Jan 13, 2011I'm trying to change an album in itunes. I drag the whole album in itunes: no problem. The artist name is spell slightly different than other albums by the same artist so when I transfer to my ipod you get two artists in your list: problem for me. I select every track in the album, right click and get info. Change the artist name and click ok. The artist name for every track changes however it always leaves the first track on its own while the others move to their own (splitting the album): problem When I check the info/tags nothing seems out of place on that one track? Not the first time this has happened but it seems to be on random albums.

ICloud On Mac :: Can Change Email Address That Receive Notifications
Jul 1, 2014When I originally set up iCloud, I was using Google mail. I have now migrated my calendar and email to iCloud and have migrated all third party accounts to use my icloud email address for mailshots, notifications etc. All that seems to be remaining is Apple's own discussion pages. It seems I cannot get notifications sent to anything other than my original gmail account, is there any way to change that? I have a forward on gmail so it's not a massive problem, but I would prefer to take gmail out of the equation completely now.
It still seems very strange to me that an Apple user's primary email address cannot be an Apple owned domain (as per their list of rules in the AppleID section). I have my icloud address as an alternate email address so at least it does allow me to log in to icloud.com etc., using that icloud address.

IMac :: Change Album Of Track Without Opening ITunes - Easy On Windows
Mar 18, 2010I have a folder with maybe 20 or 30 songs by mobb deep. I want them to be part of an album called "mobb deep", but the majority of these songs are from different albums and mixtapes, and most doesn't even have the album title on them. So on Windows I would simply mark all the files in the folder and right click, hit properties and then I'd be able to type in an album name. First of all when I mark 20 files on Mac and right click it'll open 20 windows instead of one window for all of the files (one of the dumbest things on OSX, I love everything else but this is mad stupid) - second of all I don't even think it's possible to type in the album name when right clicking an mp3 file. So how can I change the album title on all of these files without doing it in iTunes? Reason I aint doing it in iTunes is that it'll be a pain to locate each song in there since they'll be labeled all wrong.

Apr 11, 2012my colleague has set up an email account on his macbook pro 10.7 and when he sends an email out the recipients see the email address as glen with one n rather than glenn. so when people reply they send to something that is not there and get a return to sender. This is strange as the sent address in the settings is glenn not glen.
This isn't a server issue as it is on his work imac g5 computer and sends correctly. It must be an error when putting the info in but I can't see where. it is an outlook Exchange mail server and not with our company so i can't look at the settings in that.is there a simple way to sort this out or, if not how can I remove the email account, set it up again but retain the old emails?

Apr 12, 2012Many records in my address book have multiple email addresses. No big deal but I wonder if there is a way to tell Address Book / Mail which address to pick as the default.
For example I send a litttle news email one a week to a group of contacts. I want to send this email to people's personal -- not business -- email address. I've created a group in Address Book and type that group name in my Mail to line and the group pops up. But a few of the records pick the corporate address and I have to go in and change those addresses.
I just tried editing one record ... I deleted both "work" and "home" addresses from a record. Then reentered them "home" first, "work" second. But when I closed the edit Address Book listed them in the original order (maybe alpha).
