I've created a playlist of tracks which I want to load via USB stick into my car.iTunes appears to only give the option of burning the playlist onto a CD or DVD. how I can save the files direct to USB rather than creating a DVD and copying that to USB?

I'm actually not even sure where to post this. I just attempted to burn an iTunes playlist to CD using my MacBook Pro. However, when we attempted to import the cd to my Niece's windows computer the CD title as well as each song were titled "we suck". This is very odd because the titles are correct when viewing the CD using my MacBook. Has anyone ever seen this before? Could this be a virus or something?

I am relatively new to iTunes, and have burned dozens of CDs before. However, all of those CDs have been complete albums. I tried to burn my first mix recently, and found that the CD had been burned with the songs in the wrong order.
I must be doing something wrong, but there doesn't seem to be too many areas where iTunes makes it even possible to mess something this simple up, so I pretty confused.
I make a playlist, hit burn CD, select Audio CD, and go. The songs make it, but like I said, in the wrong order. They get organized by album, but I just want the CD to look like the playlist on the computer.
Has anyone run into something like this? It is iTunes 8.0.2.
I just got my first mac and I am after some advice on which cd/dvd copying/burning software is the best. I have been given a copy of Roxio toast 7 and I am less than impressed, not yet managed to copy a decent audio disc. I used Nero when I was on my PC

The iTunes library won't recognize the data from the new drive!! I haven't changed the computer!!
All I did was moved my data that no longer had space on my old drive to a new drive....

Is it possible take a playlist of songs and put those songs onto an external hard drive without finding each song in the finder and dragging it into the hard drive? I want to move just a certain few songs from my Mac Pro to my Power Book and I'd rather not waste CDs/DVDs in the process... but getting each file individually would be a huge waste of time. View 9 Replies View RelatedI want to copy my iTunes library from one external drive (currently connected to an iBook) to a 2nd external drive (connected to an eMac). The library is almost 60GB and so can not fit on either machine's hard drive.
The music currently plays through the iBook from the first external drive.
I want to be able to play the same music on the eMac (through the 2nd external drive).
Which is the best way to go about this?
Should I:
a) Connect the 1st external drive to the eMac and manually drag and drop the music from there to the 2nd external drive, or
b)Use Silverkeeper Basckup and do a backup of the Music folder in the 1st drive to the 2nd drive, after connecting the 1st to the eMac?
or is there not much difference in doing either? Or is there a more efficient option using iTunes?
Creating a playlist in itunes specifically for internet radio. The itunes help page is not detail enough.

I some local internet streams which I listen to, when I added them a long time ago I couldn't add them to the itunes radio tab :-( but created a playlist.I would like to have those streams available on my laptop but since there is no "music" it does not sync. Is there a way to do this? It would be nice to have them on the idevices as well but there i just use a radio app.

Just went from Windows to mac and want to bring my windows itunes playlists. when I hit export and save it on a usb and hit import in mac itunes, then I get the playlist but its all empty. I want this same playlist on my iPhone but when I do an 'export' then try to drag and drop into my phone I get a message saying it did not copy because 'it cannot be played on this phone'. I also cannot drag and drop it into iTunes anywhere either. All of these songs are in my library, I just don't want to have to go through and remake this playlist to add to my phone.

I'm running OS X 10.9.2 and iTunes 11.2.2 and out of the blue, my iTunes Playlists are not displaying/ not visible in the left pane under "Playlists". It's as if I have no playlists anymore. If I attempt to create a new playlist, nothing new is visible (i.e. the Playlist pane still appears empty). However, all of my music is still viewable and playable. In fact, if I play a song, I may click on its arrow and add it to any of my 20 or so playlists. So they are all visible from the drop down menu on any song that's playing.
Just now, I attempted to restore an older "iTunes Music library" file (.itl) by trashing the current one and replacing it with one from my previous "iTunes Libraries" folder. I restarted iTunes (holding down the option key), selected the previous version library and still the Playlists will not display.
Without downloading the album, U2 songs appears on my playlist out of nowhere. However, when i connect my iphone to the laptop, the album doesn't show up in the itunes, so how could i delete/get rid if it??

View 5 Replies View RelatediTunes won't list my tracks chronologically once they get past 9. I have a lecture series that has 30 tracks in it and when I number them from 1-30 as soon as iTunes sees another 1, like at the beginning of all the numbers from 10-19, it puts them after the number 1, and then moves onto the number 2. It's a real drag and other than alphabetizing the first 9 numbers I'm at a loss of what to do. Is there somewhere in preferences I can have it recognize two-digit numbers properly?
