After pressing the iPhoto icon, the software seems to be turning on but later an error message appears and I am unable to access iPhoto. I tried moving the .plist for iPhoto to Trash but this did not work.

During Backup the sistem get stack and display into the "details window" Time machine was unable to complete the backup because unable to complete the backup folder.
This problem happens with USB and Fire Wire. The file backups.backupdb is excluded from virus scanning.
Also happens time to time that (without doing things) both the partitions of the external disk disappaire from the desk-top and a message "the disk must be ejected properly" is displayed.
This two problems are independent une to the other. I have change the backup disk but both the problems persist.

I just purchased my second mac (iMac 24" screen) which has finally made me free from windows. So one of my first things I did was put my 10 year 30,000 photo collection into iPhoto... I'm find with trashing these photos and you think after iPhoto placed them in the folder it would stop but it happens EVERYTIME I open iPhoto... I found one thing online somewhere that was partially relevant and it said "go into your iphoto library and find the actual data files which might be difficult due to the naming system and delete them" but how do I go INTO the iphoto library. When starting FCP X, it comes up with an error message that says, that it is unable to connect to my NAS-Server (located at home, not at work). First i thought this is because i have a project linking to some files on the NAS, but later i found out, that FCP X tries to connect to the media of Iphoto, which is located in my home network on a NAS even if there is no project containing any pictures of Iphoto.
The error message continuous to appear even if i click OK. What to do?
I use safari on my imac. I was able to access a shared link (to access a briefcase) via a university website. It requires me to enter ID and password to access the briefcase. It also requires me to enter my ID and password whenever I click a new file in the briefcase. The shared link was okay until I let Safari remember my password. Now when I click the shared link, it says "Error 404! No such item". I am not able to access that shared link.
I tried to log on my imac with another user/account, and found out that the shared link is still working. I also tried to use my macbook and the link is working as well. So i guess that it must be something wrong when I let Safari remember my password the first time when I accessed that link. I have done Safari Reset and cleared all history, cookies, passwords, etc... but I am still not able to access that link under my own account.

Yesterday I installed the latest update of iPhoto 9.2.3 on my MacBook pro running 10.7.3 To my surprise I cannot access iPhoto anymore and get the error log (as hereunder) and the warning that I may have to reinstall the application. I live quite remote and have to drive 1,5 hours to the nearest Apple store and i feel that I should be able to solve this.for now I do not understand how to reinstall if all software was updated.

I currently have iPhoto '09 version 8.1.2. I tried uploading pictures from iPhoto to Facebook but I get the message "An error has occured. Please try again later". File > Export > Login (which brings me to the Login page on Facebook) > I sign in & that's when I get the message. I've even tried hitting the Facebook tab on the bottom right. My girlfriend changed the user's name and the problems started (iMac wouldn't remeber system settings and denied access to some files and catalogs). When I wanted to fix the problem I probably made a mistake and changed the access settings of some files (finally even hard disk's settings). After this action my iMac doesn't start (the screen is white with the apple logo and nothing happens). Is there anybody who knows what to do now?

I am trying to burn a 4.2 GB project in iDVD. My project is saved onto an external hard drive, and when I start it burning, I get an error message that says "Not enough free disk space for encoding the remaining assets." It says I only have 825 MB available on my hard drive and 3.362 are needed for encoding, but I actually have 786 GB free! Any idea what could be causing this?

I have an HP Photosmart printer connected, via USB, to a PowerPC Mac. The Mac has Bonjour on it and it acts as a print server to a Mac laptop and a Dell laptop. Until recently, everything was working fine. Now, however, when I try to print from the Dell laptop, I get a pstopdffilter error message. I can still print from the Mac laptop. Any thoughts?

I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.4 and my system is up to date.
Each time I start iPhoto I get a message that says: "A photo has been found in the iPhoto Library that was not imported. Import? Yes or No" Not matter if I pick yes or no, the next message says: "Photo has been placed in folder .../.../.../recovered photo_8" I now have 8 of these stupid recovered photo folders. Is there a way to make iPhoto not automatically search my computer?? I would rather drag and drop the photos that I want in there anyways.

i just receive my imac from apple store after they fix my HDD , my imac is using version 10.6.8 and have 2.66 GHz intel core i5 prossesor also have memory 12 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 , i had problem before with my imac and i sent it to apple store to fix it , after they fix it ( they said) i wont have any problem anymore with my imac , and when i try it at home, i used migration assistant to get back my old data to my fixed imac, and now everytime i try to update my imac from software update on apple icon, they can downloading the updates but when i click instal and restart my imac can not installing the updates, keep getting error instaling update on my imac.
