View 1 Replies View RelatedI use iCloud for my iphone 4, ipad 2, and MacBook Pro, all synced wirelessly via iTunes.However I can't get Address Book on the MacBook to update via iCloud. I've tried everything I can think of including deleting all entries and starting again, deleting the icloud account in preferences, ticking and unticking the enable box beside it, ticking and unticking the icloud box for contacts in system preferences (removing all entries at the same time).
I've selected the icloud account as the address book but it's still not seeing the contacts entries that I can see with my own eyes on the icloud website.It's never worked but I've turned a blind eye to it, since having got over the multiple entries and lost diaries fiasco when I first started to use it I've chosen to ignore the next problem.

All of a sudden, my iCal will not sync with iCloud. My iPhone still syncs, and events put into iCal on my phone push to my Mac, but not vice versa. iCal on my Mac SAYS it's "Updating", I'm not getting any error messages, but any new events put into iCal on my Mac do not update via iCloud. What happened?

Since updating to iTunes 10.6, I have never been able to use it, it 10.6 "quits unexpectedly" (crashes) every time I open and try to sync I had no problems previously.

I was not having any problems until I updated my Safari to the latest version, 5.1.4. Now I can't get into any of my MS Office applications or my HP Director. I get a message saying "____ quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. This report will be sent to Apple automatically". But when I select 'Reopen' it keeps on returnng to that page which is filled with details that don't mean anything to me - lots of numbers and the repeated use of the word 'crash'. All I can do is select 'OK' which closes that box but doesn't open the apps.

I have problems since applying the latest security Update 2009-001 and Java 10.5 Update 3, I have 10.5.6 on the new unibody 2.4ghz and have completely lost the ability to connect to my wireless access point which is an apple airport extreme base station.
I can sometimes se the base station but cannot connect to it and sometimes cannot see it at all. I have three other apple computers at home all less then a year old running the same build of 10.5.6 but have not updated them and they all are fine.
This one was perfect untill I applied the update.
The machine I am having problems with is partitioned with windows 7 beta on it which has no problems connecting to the base station, which indicates that its not a hardware problem but more then likely the update which is causing the problem.
Is there a way to uninstall the last update or delete it? Any one with a similar problem or know how I can fix it, I have googled but cannot seem to find anyone with similar problems.

I tried to burn some CDs by the iTunes but I got an error message. I quit the process but the system created an image of a kind of CD on my desktop and also in the Finder. Problem is, the image on the desktop I could delete but the finder one I could not delete. Does any have any clue about how to solve this?

For reasons I cannot fathom, when I try to sign up for iCloud using that username/password, Lion comes back with "This Apple ID cannot be used to sign in to iCloud. Since upgrading to os x v 10.7.3 and moving from mobileme to iCloud as instructed, I am unable to send emails from an Imac connected to an older imac operating on osx 10.4 via wi-fi. Emails form this older box are succesful.

I have a mac.com account and I've just started having problems logging in and checking my in-box. The issue arose yesterday afternoon (3/4/12) and I'm currently unable to receive email from my mac.com account on my macbook, iPhone or through iCloud. This is what happens when I try to access my account on each device or application: When I try to access my email though the mail client on my macbook this message appears. "The iCloud IMAP server “p02-imap.mail.me.com” rejected the password for user “helenlryan1” Enter your password again or cancel. I enter my password and it is rejected. This has never happened before and now my account is 'offline" My account details are the same and I've not changed them. I migrated my MobileMe account over to iCould on 30 March and upgraded to Lion on 31 March.. When I open my mail account in iCloud a message appears telling me: 'There was a problem loading the application due to possible network error or missing resources. Please try again" I currently have no access to my email.

Since I updated to iCloud, (which may or may not be related) Mail on my MacBookPro 10.6.8 has been unable to connect to MobileMe more than once or twice per day. Mail on my iPhone 4 and my old iMac has no problems. When there is no service a yellow warning triangle appears adjacent to the Inbox and Connection Doctor reports,"Trying to log into this MobileMe IMAP account failed. Verify that username and password are correct." Since it does fetch Mail from time to time they cannot be wrong.... can they? Should I update to 10.7 and if so what does that entail?

In ICal I have made my Gmail Calender as the Subscription, Exchange Calender, shows as the Separate Calender in Ical. The Gmail Calender entries are Sync with Icloud. I have had to change my id repeatedly. Maybe it is because the computer is registered under my husband's name?
It keeps rejecting the id and password. It becomes a stalemate for me in shifting to icloud, ordering from itunes, etc. I have to keep an ongoing record of changes and still get stopped in my tracks over and over.
