Apr 2, 2012I recently switched from a MacBookPro to a MacBook Air and have therefore been switching my iClour from one machine to another. Everything seemed to be working fine with iCloud, but today when I logged onto my work iMac, which alos yns with my iCloud and all my bookmarks are gone. I have checked and they should be synced but they just will not come up. why this would happen and how i can get to synd with my Air, IPhone, etc?

May 5, 2012I have an iMac and a MacBook Pro. Both are on Lion 10.7.3 and iCloud. Bookmarks are set to sync to iCloud on both computers, but they don't sync automatically. If I add a bookmark on one, it will not appear on the other unless on the second computer I go to System Preferences->iCloud and uncheck and recheck Bookmarks. Everything else seems to sync as expected.

ICloud :: Using 2 Profiles - Any Way To Share Calendars But Not Bookmarks?
Feb 24, 2012My wife & I share a Mac and each have our own profiles. We want to be able to share our iCal but we don't want to share bookmarks in Safari. If I correctly understand how iClowd works, we could use different Apple IDs and our bookmarks wouldn't share but we could't share calendars with this set up. If we use a shared Apple ID, we can share calendars but are bookmarks are also shared. Is there some way to share calendars but not bookmarks?

ICloud :: Its Not Syncing Bookmarks Properly Anymore?
Mar 18, 2012icloud isn't syncing bookmarks properly anymore. It was working fairly well for a while there. I seem to have some instances of bookmark deletion being replicated but not bookmark addition. This isn't consistent though. I don't have any major duplication of hundreds of bookmarks (yet) but my new ones aren't always appearing everywhere as they used to.

May 7, 2012I know this has been covered before as I have seen various threads about this but I haven't solved my issue. I'm having trouble with my iCloud account and more importantly syncing bookmarks and mail.
I have an iPhone 4S and iPad 1 which both sync booksmarks and mail fine, I also have an iMac (Lion) which doesn't! Bookmarks don't sync between the mac and iphone/ipad for some weird reason which is my main problem.
Also, I have literally just had an email come through on my phone, but 'Mail' on my iMac says theres nothing, even when I click the 'Get new messages in all accounts' button on the top left of the Mail app, nothing new comes through. It's very strange.

Jun 30, 2012This was happening with my old 2006 Macbook. I just upgraded to a new MacBook Pro the other day and I am still having the same problem. For years it worked without a problem. One day I cleared the cache and Safari no longer saved bookmarks or allowed me to delete exisiting ones.
I am able to delete old ones and add new, but the program reverts to previously saved very old settings on restart.

Jan 8, 2011After using Firefox and many others on the Mac, it's now my default browser. It's the only browser that's in the dock, actually. But I have a complaint about it.On a MacBook, the screen isn't wide enough for all of my bookmarks to show up in the bookmarks bar. The "bookmarks" menu in the bookmarks bar is hiding the last bookmark I have. How do I get rid of that? The top menu already has a bookmarks pull down menu.

Jun 7, 2012After my recovery drive went missing and trying to reinstall it, had to do a format of my hard drive and reinstall everything once I got OS X reinstalled and up-to-date, I tried to import my bookmarks from a backup bookmarks file, when I quit safari and re-open safari bookmarks were missing and default ones back in place. When searching though the forums for how to fix this problem but too know unluck they did not work.

Apr 28, 2012 I tried to burn some CDs by the iTunes but I got an error message. I quit the process but the system created an image of a kind of CD on my desktop and also in the Finder. Problem is, the image on the desktop I could delete but the finder one I could not delete. Does any have any clue about how to solve this?

Mar 19, 2012Since upgrading to os x v 10.7.3 and moving from mobileme to iCloud as instructed, I am unable to send emails from an Imac connected to an older imac operating on osx 10.4 via wi-fi. Emails form this older box are succesful.
On my newer imac with osxv10.7.3, The email stays in outbox and sent folders with the spinner spinning next to the sent folder.It displays mail activity and outgoing messages...but does not change its staus.I am unable still here 1 hour later waiting for it to go.I have tried instructions from websiteConnection doctor - all green lights

Apr 4, 2012I have a mac.com account and I've just started having problems logging in and checking my in-box. The issue arose yesterday afternoon (3/4/12) and I'm currently unable to receive email from my mac.com account on my macbook, iPhone or through iCloud. This is what happens when I try to access my account on each device or application: When I try to access my email though the mail client on my macbook this message appears. "The iCloud IMAP server “p02-imap.mail.me.com” rejected the password for user “helenlryan1” Enter your password again or cancel. I enter my password and it is rejected. This has never happened before and now my account is 'offline" My account details are the same and I've not changed them. I migrated my MobileMe account over to iCould on 30 March and upgraded to Lion on 31 March.. When I open my mail account in iCloud a message appears telling me: 'There was a problem loading the application due to possible network error or missing resources. Please try again" I currently have no access to my email.

Apr 11, 2012Since I updated to iCloud, (which may or may not be related) Mail on my MacBookPro 10.6.8 has been unable to connect to MobileMe more than once or twice per day. Mail on my iPhone 4 and my old iMac has no problems. When there is no service a yellow warning triangle appears adjacent to the Inbox and Connection Doctor reports,"Trying to log into this MobileMe IMAP account failed. Verify that username and password are correct." Since it does fetch Mail from time to time they cannot be wrong.... can they? Should I update to 10.7 and if so what does that entail?

In ICal I have made my Gmail Calender as the Subscription, Exchange Calender, shows as the Separate Calender in Ical. The Gmail Calender entries are Sync with Icloud. But I couldn't Sync the Exchange Server Calender entries from Ical to Icloud. All i need is "Sync my Exchange server calender with Icloud".
