ICloud On Mac :: Document And Data Not Showing After OS X Mavericks (10.9.4) Reinstall
Sep 7, 2014
I upgrade my iCloud to iCloud Drive when I used the Yosemite . Yesterday, I reinstall Mavericks and then iCloud is not working anymore. I can't see iCloud in Pages , Numbers, Sketch 3 , etc. I can't access any iCloud Data anymore and I can't work at home now.
Is there any way to download iCloud Drive or how to do to support iCloud Document and data again in current Mavericks.
I created a document in Pages on my iMac. Saved it to my documents folder, but it's not going to the could because it doesn't show up on my iPad or iPhone.
How do I use the document and data of i-Cloud as backup of my i-Disk. I would like to move i-Disk stuff to that. Also, is it like i-Disk in that is is seperate from the computer (in a cloud as it were)?
A friend brought his new 15" Macbook Pro to me after trying to install Boot Camp and Windows XP. He said that he made a second partition for Windows; however, the drive showed only one partition formatted with NTFS. I tried reinstalling mac os using the disk that came with the laptop. When it came time to choose the destination drive, none showed up. I then went to Disk Utility. The drive and the volume showed up in the left panel but I could not Erase or do anything else - all the options were grayed out. With no firewire port I am also unable to use target mode.
We are currently using Numbers Spreadsheets to keep track of customer's payments in our office. We want to be able to export this information into a document which can be personalized based on their name and balance left on their account.
I have a Macbook Pro with OS X Lion. I want to reinstall Lion without losing my data. I dont have a TimeMachine or backup hard disk. Can the Command+R option with Reinstall thing will wipe my data ? Is there a way so i can have a fresh OS X Lion and and preserve my files ?
My iMac is running veeeery slow. It takes forever to open any program. I already have time machine working, but I have not additionally backup my photos and other data. I'm thinking in reinstalling the operative system but I am afraid to mess up the Info.
I want to reinstall Mac OS X Lion with saving my programms, docs and photos. What should I do then? I know that Time Machine backups data with the system. But Ineed to backup my files and then on clear system I want to restore this backup. Please reply with the steps which should I do. And where should I download original Mac OS X Lion image?
PS I bought MacBook Pro with pre-installed Lion.

The Macbook of a friend of mine doe not boot anymore after an abordet Itunes-Upadte yesterday evenig. How ever, the Save-Boot-Log tells me, that "The System bootstrapper has crashed: Trace/BPT trap: 5" I assume that i have to reinstall OS X to get the Macbook run again. This is where i'm sure, whether the Install via Recovery-Partition -> Reinstall Lion does a complete Clean-Install (all Data that's been on the HDD will be gone) or does "only" some Repair-Install-Stuff which preserve the personal Data and Software on the HDD. Nevertheless i'm going to Backup (CCC) the broken installation to be on the safe side anyway.
I am using OS X 10.9.4 on a MacBook Pro. When I launch the Calendar app (Version 7.0 (1841.1)), I don't see any of my event. I have to go to the Window menu and click Calendar. The app crashes pretty often. Can I reinstall it without losing my calendar data?

I recently updated the operating system to Lion and I am trying to save my files on iCloud. It does not work and I can not save any document on I cloud. I am using keynote 09 version 5.1.1.
I am not sure why if I go to type in kbos sey parch ccc rober kjfk won't show the blue line. However, it works on firefox. Here are the pictures of the two. The first is on Safari (not working) the second is of Firefox (working). By the way, I zoomed out a lot so you could see how Firefox shows the blue line for the whole route and this happens for other things as well .
My MB Air is not booting (I get the ever gray Apple logo screen with the spinning wheel, and nothing happens) Following instructions I found online, I tried the disk utility repair disk and permissions and, apparently, there's nothing wrong. Still, the system won't boot!
I'm now trying to reinstall Mac OS X Lion, but the system requires about 0.5 GB of additional free disk space to install!
Is there anyway I can access the OS terminal screen (command line interface), so I may delete a few files, creating additional disk space?

I have a Mac and an Airbook. I can not seem to save a document (pages or numbers etc) to the iCloud and retrieve it on the other device. What setting should I check?
I have two questions, must you have purchased and installed iWorks on your iPad or iPhone to use it with iCloud on your iMac?
Secondly, I can't get a Pages '09 document to drag onto the iWorks window and stay nor can I find the Action popup menu window that will allow me to select and choose the document so that I can save it.
I got a very wierd issue going on with my 2TB Western Digital External HD that is connected to my Macbook Air.
All of my folders show the contents when using Windows XP (thur BootCamp) except for one folder, which I have all my movies in. The folders has 24GB of movies in it that I transfered to my external drive from another external HDD while using Snow Leopard (dont know if that matters).
Well I cant see any of the movies in that folder when it open. Its completely empty. But when I check the properties on it shows 24GB. However last night I transferd 15 movies into the folder (They are included in that 24gb) and I can see all 15 movies. But not the rest.
I have mavericks OS X and created a new user due to problems with my older user account. move all of my files over to the new user without any problems. However now when I am on my new user and I go to make any changes to these old files it requires my password any time I make a change. I have checked the document information and it has my new user listed with read and write permission and my older user is no longer listed and the document is not locked according to the get info screen. Is there a way to turn off this feature of requiring a password to edit the document or a reason why it is requiring me to input a password each time?
I have an iMac desktop with a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor and 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory. The operating system is Mac OS X, 10.9.4. Using my current software, I am unable to satisfactorily scan a document (in this case, a small community street map showing streets and lots with house numbers and owner's last names) and then be able to edit the scanned map to update it with new owner's names. I am told that a PDF scanner app may allow to me to scan and edit a document.
