iCloud does not show up on my system preferences, even though I just downloaded the newest iTunes, and the latest software for my mac. How else can I download it to my macbook?

The "downloading steps" first instruct me to go to my APPLE ICON, Select SYSTEM PREFERENCES, and then select the QUICKTIME icon.... But I can't find the Quicktime Icon. It's not there. Yes, I already have the Quicktime 7 application. So WHY won't it show up in my System Preferences?!

I have a mid-2008 Black Macbook that is giving me issues. Any time i go into the system preferences, my last window up will be shown, then when i go back into the main menu and click on what i want (Desktop & Screensaver), i just get the rainbow orb of death. The system preferences then show not responding and i then have to force quit the system preferences. Can somebody please tell me what is going on and why it keeps doing this, and how to prevent it from happening again.

Also, when i take a screenshot there is no sound, but there usually is one. My speakers are working because i am able to play music in itunes. Also, i system preferences, the search box does not show any results like it always does

I've recently installed Lion and moved to iCloud. I have iCal set up with iCloud and it syncs with my iPad.In the iCloud System Prefs Pane, which I'd not looked at before, I have Calendars ticked, but when I click on Sign Out, I get a message telling me: "If you stop using iCloud for Calendars and Reminders, calendars and reminders stored in iCloud will be removed from this Mac."This seems to me to indicate that the message generator can't see my tick next to Calendars. Or is it that one isn't meant to sign out in this Pref Pane.?

I just purchased a new macbook pro that is running OS 10.7.4. When trying to set up my iCloud acount through system preferences i got an error message saying "You can not login at this time, please try again later." Later, it still didn't work. I can access the icloud website where info from my iphone is so i know neither the password nor the username is the issue. I even changed my password to apple's new standards and that did not work. Â

I have a Macbook Air 13'' which I purchased a couple of months ago.

I just bought an ipad and it had icloud and when I attach the ipad to the macbook pro (running lion; up to date) it is not even recognizing that it is attached. I want to put the icloud on the macbook pro because it is not on there. When I go to system preferences and look for the icon for icloud it is not there. How do I change the name in the iCloud account details in system preferences? For some reason it has picked up a wrong name and everytime I try to change it it does not memorise the change but keeps defaulting back to the wrong name. It therefore means that everytime I accept an invite for an appointment in Ical it shows the wrong name.
