I have a Macbook, ipad and two iphones. The macbook was always the main computer but now I have bought an iMac and want to use it as the main computer. Both computers are using OS Lion. How do I move everything to the iMac and make it the principal centre?

Lately I've been noticing that my devices are still registering as being plugged in, even after removing them. Â Their icons never disappear after removing devices (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV 1st gen). I can click the eject button and the icon disappears, but thats just a workaround.Â

I have a macbook 10.5.8 and am wondering if it is worth it to upgrade at this point. I migrated from mobleMe to iCloud on my macbook air, using the [url]... ID, and on both iPhones using [url]... ID. The two iPhones sync with each other for apps-purchased, contacts, iCal and Contacts, but the macbook air does not. How do i get the three devices to sync? I'm contemplating the move to iCloud from MobileMe. I need to be able to sync an older Mac Mini G4 running 10.5.8 too. It can't run Snow Leopard or Lion, so this one issue is holding me back from the iCloud transition - I would have to replace that computer to do so, which seems ridicluous.  I'm concious that I need to make a decision before the June shutdown of Mobile Me and need to plan.

I know that if i create a document in pages on my mac that i need to upload the doc via icould for it to show in iwork. I also know that if i access that file from my iphone or ipad and make changes to that document that it automatically updates it on icloud. Is there a way when i make changes to that document on my mac that it automatically updates it like my iphone and ipad does on icloud. Coz whats happening at the moment is every time i make a change to the doc on my mac its currently NOT updating it on icloud. I am doing something wrong or does it just not update the document?

So Apple want's to force off Mobile Me users and is directing us to use iCloud. Yet the main feature that I specifically purchased Mobile Me for was the syncing capabilities of keychains, preferences, etc. So that if I install a new OS from scratch or buy new hardware, installation is much easier. I've used this feature several times and it has made my investment into Mobile Me worth every penny. Also I truly enjoyed the full sharing capabilities of the Photo Gallery which iCloud is considerably watering down. Â

Is this possible? I've created some contacts in Adress Book on my Mac (yes, under the "iCLoud" header), and they don't show on the iCloud website. If it's a one-way path from iCloud to Adress Book, then I guess that for anyone using iCloud for contacts, it renders Adress Book useless, doesn't it?Â
Btw, somehow the newly created contacts just vanished, so unless you good people provide me with a solution, I just won't use Adress Book again, because that was at least 30 minutes of my life straight to the trash bin.

I recently switched over to icloud and I am unable to get my icalendar to sync now. When I change appts on my icalendar, they do not appear changed on my iphone, or icloud. Vis versa when I change appts on my phone. My email accounts are all syncing just fine.Â

I have Configured my MBA(OS X 10.7.3) mail with the Icloud, Exchange Server, and Gmail. In ICal I have made my Gmail Calender as the Subscription, Exchange Calender, shows as the Separate Calender in Ical. The Gmail Calender entries are Sync with Icloud. But I couldn't Sync the Exchange Server Calender entries from Ical to Icloud. All i need is "Sync my Exchange server calender with Icloud".Â
