I think I would need to get snow leopard then lion? I want to get a new computer this summer when the new OS comes out, but still will use this one. I am finding I can't sync to iCloud with this OS. (Or am I doing something wrong?

The two iPhones sync with each other for apps-purchased, contacts, iCal and Contacts, but the macbook air does not. How do i get the three devices to sync? Apple says both IDs are migrated to the iCloud.

Feb 15, 2012I'm contemplating the move to iCloud from MobileMe. I need to be able to sync an older Mac Mini G4 running 10.5.8 too. It can't run Snow Leopard or Lion, so this one issue is holding me back from the iCloud transition - I would have to replace that computer to do so, which seems ridicluous.  I'm concious that I need to make a decision before the June shutdown of Mobile Me and need to plan.

Feb 29, 2012I know that if i create a document in pages on my mac that i need to upload the doc via icould for it to show in iwork. I also know that if i access that file from my iphone or ipad and make changes to that document that it automatically updates it on icloud. Is there a way when i make changes to that document on my mac that it automatically updates it like my iphone and ipad does on icloud. Coz whats happening at the moment is every time i make a change to the doc on my mac its currently NOT updating it on icloud. I am doing something wrong or does it just not update the document?

Mar 14, 2012So Apple want's to force off Mobile Me users and is directing us to use iCloud. Yet the main feature that I specifically purchased Mobile Me for was the syncing capabilities of keychains, preferences, etc. So that if I install a new OS from scratch or buy new hardware, installation is much easier. I've used this feature several times and it has made my investment into Mobile Me worth every penny. Also I truly enjoyed the full sharing capabilities of the Photo Gallery which iCloud is considerably watering down. Â

Mar 25, 2012I joined iCloud feeling the clock ticking.Then I learn I need the $29.99 OS upgrade to Lion to support iCloud and I oblige. NOW, I learn MS Office 2004 is not supported! Feeling a little baited here.Can't open any of my .doc's! Any advice before I go out and drop another C-note on software that worked to suit my needs a day ago. Contemplating a timemachine restore, but then I'm back to iCloud > Lion $29.99 and my iphone won't sync without iCloud, right?

Mar 26, 2012Is this possible? I've created some contacts in Adress Book on my Mac (yes, under the "iCLoud" header), and they don't show on the iCloud website. If it's a one-way path from iCloud to Adress Book, then I guess that for anyone using iCloud for contacts, it renders Adress Book useless, doesn't it?Â
Btw, somehow the newly created contacts just vanished, so unless you good people provide me with a solution, I just won't use Adress Book again, because that was at least 30 minutes of my life straight to the trash bin.
