Windows :: Get Itunes On Mac Osx To Be Equivalent On W7?
Sep 6, 2010
Okay so before everyone starts to say search before you post a new topic. I searched about this and im confused i saw various methods. I want to have the same library on mac and windows 7. Also, when i add music to my mac library will it automatically loads the new music into my windows side.
I use a HP Compaq Tablet PC at work every day. It's a convertible tablet/laptop. I use Windows Journal to write with a pen stylus onto a notebook-lined template or to a graph paper template. I just hate my work computer.
I'm seriously thinking of buying my own Mac notebook and using an external tablet or slate by Wacom. (or purchasing a Modbook)
Is there any Mac software similar to Windows Journal?
I've looked at Evernote, Journler, Circus Ponies Notebook, SoHo notes, Zengobi Curio, The Omni Group, MacJournal. None of them are similar to WIndows Journal. Circus Ponies Notebook comes closest.
Does anyone know of a similar type of utility made for Windows that expands text through key commands? Here is a strange additional request, I'd prefer that it not be freeware.
So maybe there is no Keynote for Windows, but is there an equivalent? I'm kinda stuck on a PC right now so I can't get Keynote. And no, PowerPoint is not acceptable
I'm a fairly recent switcher from Windows, and the only program I use quite a bit in Windows that I can't find an OSX replacement for is ConvertXtoDVD. The specific function I need from that program is converting .avi to dvd files.
I am looking for the equivalent of the windows favorites folder in Mac. Can you tell me where all the links are stored. ( Like when I like a site I add to the favorites in Mac), where is the folder where they are stored?
I am configuring a MAC OS X 10.6.5 for multiple users on a domain. I want each profile to have specific applications in the dock along with right click enabled for all users. I am new to Mac's and havent found any material on creating a default profile for OS X 10.6.5.
Where do I find the equivalent of Remote Desktop Connection on Mac OS X Lion? I like the feature in MS Windows where I can click on the "MS orb/All Programs" and all of my programs are there? Is there a way to customize something like this in Mac OS? I hate to go to an Application folder and launch my application that way.
I am using Xcode to learn C from a windows-oriented "teach yourself" book. The executable file for the Hello World! program ends in .exe.I imagine that this would run if you double-clicked it in a windows operating system. Is there an equivalent extension for the mac? Or is it always only ran through the terminal program in the Xcode program?
Part of my job involves creating flow diagrams, I'm wiriting a report now which requires one, I have only had my mac for a few days, but I bought Office with it but I see it doesn't come with Visio, is there anyway of making it work on Leopard, or an alternative for Mac available?
I need a software like Putty on Windows, but for OSX. I have a USB-RS232 'dongle' and serial cable I use to access the console on some UNIX servers, but I need a serial terminal software to use it.
iPhoto is great, but I need something like windows Paint, that can edit photos, i.e. color in/out a license plate on a car pic and what not. I'm looking for a simple and hopefully free equivalent, not a professional program at this time. I'm new to mac, so I don't know what's out there and didn't see anything listed in the help menu for mac apps here.
good Graphmatica equivalent for OS X? I've tried geoMac and EdenGraph, but like neither of those.
EdenGraph can't plot multiple curves at the same time, and while dragging, the curves disappear, while with geoMac I have to manually specify the range when drawing a graph of the function, and I don't know how to get the coordinate of a point on the graph.
I'm desperatingly looking for the AnyDVD equivalent on Mac, the famous Win software from Slysoft. I tried to use DVD2One, which itself is very fast (considering that it uses all the CPU cores), but unfortunately it cannot handle copy-protected DVDs. First ripping the DVD on the Hd with Mac The Ripper is a time wasting, considering that in Windows AnyDVD simply removes the protection via software, without any previous extraction of the DVD content.
I just transferred from PC to Mac. On my PC, I kept all my passwords and personal info in RoboForm. I would like a similar program on Mac that I can use to keep track of all my passwords. It has to be able to import my Roboform data into it and it also has to be compatible with Firefox.
I wanted to know if there is a software for mac similar to the Internet Download Manager for windows, that will allow me to download youtube, and pause and resume downloads.
