After the update to Leo and patches, the maps.google.de, ch, com etc will display no maps. And if they show the maps they dont work. I have tested it with the firefox but their is still the same problem. With my IBook with 10.4 it works fine. I think it is a problem with the java script settings for the whole system but I don't know where I can change these settings.
View 2 RepliesCan no longer start to type an address into the Search Maps field and have Google complete it if Ive entered it before, and if Search brings me to a location and I want directions when I enter the start address if I have entered it before Google again does not complete it.
Also, if I click on the down pointing arrow located between the Search text block and the Search Maps button I no longer am presented with a list of Saved addresses.
I have a white MacBook 2.2 running 10.5.6. I use Google Maps all the time and in the last two days it has stopped working. The initial page loads but then when I search for something at the top it says "Loading" then changes to "Still loading... Slow? Try Basic HTML." I know I could use another map site but I use a webpage that calculates the fastest roundtrip for multiple locations and it uses Google Maps and this is causing that site not to work. It is happening in both Safari and Firefox. I have the newest version of each. Javascript is enabled. I have done every update possible. I have changed my DNS back and forth between the ones from my ISP and some from OpenDNS. There is another macbook on our network identical to mine that is working fine as is a MacBook Pro. I have not been able to get anything done today at work because of this.

I've also tried with Firefox but the problem is still not solved.Actually, Safari (or Firefox) keeps charging the page but is unable to get it. I always see a blank page. It only happens with these two websites. Other sites are working perfectly.I've tried so many things like installing the flash, erasing cookies or cache, installing updates but nothing helped. *One curious thing (I can't imagine this has anything to do with it but....) the app store does not seem to recognize I have upgraded to OSX 10.9.4. I know I'm running this version as this is what shows when I click on "About This Mac" yet the app store won't reflect it. The download button is always ready and waiting for me to click it

Since I upgraded to Mavericks, my once slick and awesome appointment system has been hobbled due to the new calendar integration.... I create a new event, and try to type "conf call" into the location and I have to wait about 4 minutes whilst maps goes through its entire database of locations desperately trying to find something that matches for each and every single letter that I type. Now when I want to create a new conference call in my calendar, I type "conf call" and go get a refill on my filter coffee while I wait for it to fail and timeout looking for an address that doesn't exist. Â
I'm sure the feature is awesome for people that create the occasional meeting, and always have the time to wait for neat-o address magic to happen, but I'd just like to turn it off. The paperclip was a bad idea when MS did it in Office all those years ago, let's not revisit.Â
When planning trips etc I, for obvious reasons, want to find locations in Maps that are not around the corner from where I currently am. Somehow I just cannot do this. Being in China looking for a city in e.g. Europe constantly yields the result 'No results found'. Either I have misunderstood how Maps works or this is not possible.

Previously the solution was to install Safari plugins Inquisitor or Glims but Apple have removed the interfaces from Safari 4 that these plugins used - and there is still no built in Safari Preference to set the locale of the Google search. Effectively this renders the Safari Google Search field pretty well useless - at least for UK users. View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running mail 5.2 on 10.7.3 with imap. I'm having problems with emails not showing up. Or they show up when people send them and then dissapear. They are not being combined in the multiple email from the same user, the new feature of mac mail. They are just not showing up. I can go to my server and see them sitting there. The specific emails today were sent 6 days ago.Â
Also the folder I created for these emails were not showing up either, even though it was created on the server. This is also after hitting syncronize. Â
Third, emails from the past for some folders nore not showing up at all. I can go into folders I have with emails from a month to a year ago and they are competely blank even tough I know there are emails in those folders.

I'm running OS X 10.9.2 and iTunes 11.2.2 and out of the blue, my iTunes Playlists are not displaying/ not visible in the left pane under "Playlists". It's as if I have no playlists anymore. If I attempt to create a new playlist, nothing new is visible (i.e. the Playlist pane still appears empty). However, all of my music is still viewable and playable. In fact, if I play a song, I may click on its arrow and add it to any of my 20 or so playlists. So they are all visible from the drop down menu on any song that's playing.Â
Just now, I attempted to restore an older "iTunes Music library" file (.itl) by trashing the current one and replacing it with one from my previous "iTunes Libraries" folder. I restarted iTunes (holding down the option key), selected the previous version library and still the Playlists will not display.Â
At the moment I am open minded about Ping, so I might give it a try. But I do have a question.. For those who have activated an account.. Does it display your entire library of music you downloaded? Or does it just display who your favorite artists are and what your favorite songs are? I wasn't sure if you get to choose what or how info is displayed.
