The trouble opening my credit union account just started yesterday and it was usable the day before. I enter my username and password and the next window tries to open my account but ends up on a page that reads invalid username and password! What has happened to my settings?

I am not able to open a credit union account in Safari, I continue to get a window that says my user name or password are invalid. But the same account can be opened in Firefox with no problem. I have not nor ever do open this account from any email or any out of the ordinary site. I have not noticed any other problems with Safari.

I'm not too computer savvy let alone MAC savvy.
I was wondering if I would be able to remote access my lost laptop if the administrator account has been deleted. Being absent minded I left my bag at the bus station and I figure who ever has found it is keeping it by now since I haven't gotten a phone call yet and it's been over a week.
I went to the account tab in preferences but I don't see the guest account. did this change with Snow Leopard. I want to take the guest account off my laptop.

I just got my macbook and ipod touch I was trying to get the 2.0 update for the ipod but I couldn't create an itunes account because I don't have a credit card and I live in a country which doesn't have a store. So what do I Do? I can get a friend from canada to buy me an itunes gift card but can I use it here ? or even a paypal one? And still if I create the account can I use it to buy the update and apps from my country? Or download missing album art I guess my second question is can I buy stuff from another country's store?

Since then, I send money to a friend who lives in the US and he emails me back the code from a gift voucher. My account is registered at his address but doesn't have any billing information in. I was just reading that when you go in for the first time, it asks you to verify your credit card information. As I don't live in the US and don't have a US credit card, and set the account up with store credit, how would I go through and confirm my billing information without card info? Also if I can get around the problem above, and I have credit on my iTunes Store account, can this be used to pay for apps?

Now I have an Apple ID, but I've never filled out the credit card info. I will not be using the App Store for anything paid, I don't want to put in my credit card info, is there any way I can create an account without giving Apple my CC details? Cons: seems pretty hopeless at detecting installed apps. Apparently I don't have GarageBand or Keynote installed. Ah well.

I bought this new MacBook Pro a month ago. When I try logging into my guest account, it froze. I had no other alternative but to get out of it by pressing the power button. Then I tried open a new user account to see if it also has the same problem. Unfortunately it did have the same problem - froze after I logged in. I had done a harddisk check, there seemed to be no problem.

How it happened but I basically don't have an administrative account anymore, all I have is 1 standard user. I cannot boot into single user and I do not have the install disks and I was wondering if anybody had a solution to either turn my current user into an admin or create a new admin.

Yesterday I installed the latest update of iPhoto 9.2.3 on my MacBook pro running 10.7.3 To my surprise I cannot access iPhoto anymore and get the error log (as hereunder) and the warning that I may have to reinstall the application. I live quite remote and have to drive 1,5 hours to the nearest Apple store and i feel that I should be able to solve this.for now I do not understand how to reinstall if all software was updated.

In the Mail app, I'm getting a circle with a triangle and an exclamation mark inside it. I can't receive or send my from this (Outlook Express) account. I removed the drive and hoped to access it using an external controller however, since mac pro has spare enclosure, will i be able to use the laptop drive through that. I know its not a 3.5 " drive I just need to access it once to get some files out
I have un-installed and re-installed to no avail. I have been in touch with Apple support and they suggested I take down my fire wall whilst I re-installed but nothing does any good. I still can't access the store from my Windows lap top.

I need to find a way to get into the admin account on my school laptop. The way I did it last was reset the PRAM and get into safemode to delete a startup file so I could make another admin account and change passwords that way. But I'm pretty sure the IT people at my school did something weird to these things. When you take the battery and L-bracket out and remove a stick of RAM and all that and hold down option+command+P+R to reset the parameter RAM, it doesn't even restart or ding. I've done this many many times last year so there's no chance I'm doing wrong. It's not just my computer that won't boot into safemode either. I'm cool with using discs, but I don't know if I'd need an admin password to use them.

So today I decided to send one of my friends a very special christmas present - episodes of SNL. I decided to first send her the Just Commercials episode, because I know its one of her favorite parts of the sketch show. The show is $1.99, and I filled out the "Gift" form. However, when I clicked "Done", the iTunes page said that it had billed my CREDIT CARD. I have $24.95 in store credit, from various gift cards for iTunes. Why did this happen, and how can I fix this? I really really really can NOT have this bill be on my credit card.
